Salgado Is A Hero Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 if Givet and Simon should be playing a prem league team then why did NO team come in for them in the summer. Berg clearly see Dann and Hanley has his best centre back partnership ATM. Holden, that Korean lad, Mark Davies and probably Martin Petrov should be playing for a Prem team as well but they're not. If they were fit and on the bench would you see comments like yours on the Bolton forums? No they'd be questioning why their best players are sitting on the bench. I usually admire your optimism but there should be a limit to it....otherwise you start to sound a bit like one of the clowns from Roverstalk.

CapeTownRover Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Damn, we crying out for an experienced center half, and he is sitting on the bench playing with his beard.
Backroom Tom Posted December 7, 2012 Backroom Posted December 7, 2012 On the up side the likes of Marcus, King, CKR, Formica and Nunes know there's a lot of people for few places and they need to perform
Salgado Is A Hero Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Are Givet and Nuno Gomes injured?! Nuno is....hamstring I think I read. Nobody knows the situation with Givet.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I'm a massive fan of our Gallic left footer - I still can't see why, if he wants to keep the centre backs together, he doesn't find room at left back and push Martin forward. Some strange goings on I feel.
danger19_80 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Is it not possible that central midfield gives us the steel we've all been craving, with the emphasis put on the wingers to put the balls into Rhodes we all know he'll snap up? I hope so. COYB.

Paul Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Got in the ground at 7.40. So few people in the stands fans asking each other if it is an 8.00pm kick off!!!
Proudtobeblue&white Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Not arguing with keeping SD & GH together, needs to play best team, have won one in seven remember and nowt at home. He needs to do something drastic! At least we have the mighty Tim Flowers in the Sky room, and not as some suggested the reviled toad!
Backroom DE. Posted December 7, 2012 Backroom Posted December 7, 2012 King aside so many of our players look very uncomfortable on the ball. Most of them don't want it.
sam_rovers Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Its very odd watching us play- Even though we are very narrow yet we are still weak in the middle and cant keep hold of the ball
Proudtobeblue&white Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Looks like less than five figures on tonight Formica being bossed royally at present
Backroom DE. Posted December 7, 2012 Backroom Posted December 7, 2012 Why does it look like we only have about seven players on the pitch? Have the others ran back down the tunnel or something? I know it's cold lads but move for goodness sake. As I say that, nice little run from Mauro there.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Then does brilliant run to get the free kick!
Clitherover Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Wow, this is poor. Not quite as poor as the first half against Burnley but yeah, poor. The opposition are all over us yet again...
Mr. E Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Cardiff float the ball in once and Robinson completely off his place, doesn't know what's going on. Get him off the pitch as soon as possible.
Torgeir Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 This team really is low in confidence. That's why we needed a big managerial presence to come in. Lowe and Etuhu pairing is too destructive, especially at home. Still a long way to go, but not commanding the game at all so far.
Aberdeen Blue Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Jesus, we just can't keep hold of the ball. Give it back to Cardiff at every opportunity.
Commondore Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 We're getting destroyed by Cardiff's closing down, defenders and midfielders are constantly panicking in possession and sending hopeles punts towards Rhodes. Not that Cardiff are looking particularly sharp in possession, but if the game keeps looking like this they will win it.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 More of the same at present - we haven't imposed ourselves on the opposition (other than v poor Posh team) since Berg arrived. Again, not playing to strengths - 29% of action in our third, 15% in theirs!
Backroom DE. Posted December 7, 2012 Backroom Posted December 7, 2012 Martin Olsson has been very good defensively so far, which is rare. The chronic lack of overall pace in our team is frightening and causes us to look completely unthreatening.
