Couldn't aee anywhere to post this so feel free to delete it once the pre match thing on.

Basically Blackpool tickets are on general sale. I went in to get Cardiff tickets so just out of interest enquired about Blackpool and to my surprise on normal sale even though I checked website before set off.

I'd written off chances of getting any. So if still not on website tickets on general sale.

cant wait for this match, its my birthday, meeting the lads in Morrisons at 8:30am for a full english then getting the 9:35 train over. Anyone making the trip on the train I would advise to ge an early rain as some of my mates last time struggled to get on any of the later ones

Not that far away. Good 15 mins walk or so. I get off on the south shore and get into some boozers making my way up. train takes over an hour from blackburn

Lee, just been down and got tickets, which are now on general sale. Managed to get 3, for all of us going (that is if you still have a ticket for me!)

Good shout for earlier trains if going. Last time we were waiting on platform and our train filled up and couldn't get on so keaned about with taxis and all sorts. Unless you were prepared to fight your way on really was every man for himself.

So think this time we'll get a taxi to Preston then train from there as the trains are every 20 mins as opposed to every hour, less rammed and think goes into Blackpool north which is nearer if memory serves.

Also for that prem game couldn't get tickets so we got some in home fans and as we walked past the rovers fans at 2.50 was a monster queue round corner so almost to a man most of those will have missed ko. So either staff there are very inefficient or randomly everyone turned up at once.

I'll be getting the train from Liverpool on me todd, possibly meeting someone in Blackpool but not sure yet, so will be looking to tag along for some pre match drinks.

We went to that game. Arrived at 2.55 and walked straight in, never seen the outside of a ground or the surrounding streets so quiet.

Be careful where you park a car, mine had paint stripper poured over it last year.

Blackpool South is much closer to Bloomfield Road than North, although both are walkable. North is over a mile away There's an hourly service from East Lancs direct to South, so obviously that's going to be busy. It will be quieter (and probably quicker) to take the express from Blackburn and change to a North train at Preston.

Last time we went it was far more of a novelty as we hadn't played them for ages, it was a lot warmer too and not as close to Xmas.

I went into the ticket office a couple of weeks back and was advised not to waste my time applying as they'd not hit general sale.

They got that one wrong!

Away followings have been tremendous this season so far, sadly the football hasn't.

supporters are not going to pay to watch rubbish, especially so close to Christmas, so not selling out at bpool is understandable surely.
