Majiball Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 I would be surprised if that was the case - it was no secret he was desperate to get away from Blackpool - and widely reported that Rovers was his preferred destination. He was desperate to get back down south to his family, I'm told he met Rovers and walked out during the interview/chat as he was far from impressed. I'd rather work for Oyston over SS everyday as well.

CapeTownRover Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 would it be possible to record this, and have it uploaded on here so that those who cant listen to it, might be able to at a later time? Or is this not allowed?
PAFELL Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Failed on first question. would things have been different if sam had remained at the club?
RoverScot Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 would it be possible to record this, and have it uploaded on here so that those who cant listen to it, might be able to at a later time? Or is this not allowed? it will be on the iplayer for a week after broadcast.
Derbyshire Blue Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Anybody got a link that works on mobile? Can't get through on the bbc site. Use the tune-in app
PAFELL Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 dig at fans - I hope we have 20,000 fans at next home match
Majiball Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Me as well. He's started with his usual it's all going as expected, I knew it would be hard it has been etc etc. Lack of physical presence of the owners shouldn't matter, they back the club and I am their voice. Leave 15 early as they have schedule's, looks like we will get some serious questions. He's just basically said I hope we get 20,000 supporters next home game, so that's him saying the owners not being here is akin to the stay away fans. Serious mistake shebby the fans didn't cause this your lot did. Muppet and he's slipped up in the first 5 mins.
S60tti_BRFC Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 now basically saying Venkys are using us to promote their global image etc. What a load of kean. I swear this is just a repeat of everything he said last time. what a joker!
Backroom Tom Posted December 12, 2012 Backroom Posted December 12, 2012 Shebby doing his usual of saying so much that it sounds like he's answered a question but not really saying much at all
S60tti_BRFC Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 I'm scared to think about the 10 year plan he referred to. What league could we be in then?
bazza Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 This man, you know, is a complete and utter buffoon, you know, like his employers, you know. He sounds, you know, like a politician, you know.
Majiball Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 So you can state if we don't go up we won't have to sell players??? Shebby: no We've bought in players for reasons blah blah blah a club that can survive and sustain. So basically all you said before was keans
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 ''We can survive and we can sustain'' Now talking about Barca and Man Utd.
Majiball Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 This man, you know, is a complete and utter buffoon, you know, like his employers, you know. He sounds, you know, like a politician, you know. I bet he knows his pokemon though. one fan just said when will we learn to play to rhodes strengths. never mate the IQ level at our club is low.
Amo Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 "Even if we don't go up, we'll still be in a better state than the rest of the Championship clubs." Phew, I'm glad that's sorted.
S60tti_BRFC Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Keaning hell! he's now suggesting we are going to be the next Man Utd through the use of our core players etc.
Majiball Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 apparently our current unbalanced team is normal and ever club has this. They do, they sign players that don't fit the way they play? We need a core group of players at the club. We had one you moron, you sold them all.
Amo Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Two rubbish questions so far. Where's our Paxman?
PAFELL Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Seems to me they are just interested in promoting their chicken business - using rovers / english football, to do it
