tomphil Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Just read the report in the telegraph, what the hell is Paul Agnew doing in a room talking about the backroom staff with Singh/Shaw and Henning? He was looking after mascot a few seasons ago, was reputed to be the worst press officer in the premiership and can't even get the spelling on his website right. Bleedin Circus, clowns to left jokers to the right You could also wonder where some of the destabilizing stories leaked to the press come from. The Freidel thing then the backroom stuff etc. Strangely enough Nicko always spoke well of PNE Paul.! hmm....?

Quite interesting this part, especially as one part of this equation would point the finger at others as the source of leaks . Some must think people have just been dropped off from vietnam

Blueandwhitemike Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Excuse my ignorance but what is the story with the sports science department and mark howard suing the club and not being replaced... I've seen a few mentions referencing this, especially from Majiball. Did I miss this story? There's so much going on it is hard to keep up.
Mercer Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 According to Mail, Shebby calling the shots: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2247177/Henning-Berg-forced-shake-Blackburn-backroom-staff-club-chief-Shebby-Singh.html
broadsword Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I can only think, when reading how much Hendry is on per week, that our club is being raped. Sorry if that seems OTT, but that's how I feel. I feel ill.
John Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Leaks = Aggers>Nixon, been doing it for years, apparently......
LeChuck Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 According to Mail, Shebby calling the shots: http://www.dailymail...ebby-Singh.html Hard to dispute any of that with all the facts and evidence they presented to support it...
chaddyrovers Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 didnt John Williams ask Paul Ince to change his coaching staff when he was incharge?
The Gull Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Since when has the backroom been Bergs anyway? He inherited it from KeanOut, not his own men at all. Poor journalism, amd poor over the top reaction from some.

ada2020 Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 What difference are new backroom staff likely of having on performances, especially if picked by the speccy kean!!!!
Mercer Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Just what has our club become ? BBC Lancashire@BBCLancashire Blackburn manager Henning Berg confirms that Colin Hendry will assist Gary Bowyer in running the reserves. Looks like Shaw will have to make some more savings on chairs !!!!
RoverScot Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 BBC Lancashire@BBCLancashire Blackburn manager Henning Berg also confirms that Colin Hendry will have to crouch and act as a chair during reserve games.
davulsukur Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 BBC Lancashire@BBCLancashire Blackburn manager Henning Berg also confirms that Colin Hendry will have to crouch and act as a chair during reserve games.
EgyptianPete Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012  Okay I have been away, what's the chair joke
broadsword Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Captain Shelving impressed Glen Mullan I think it was, with tales of his cost-slashing, particularly with regard to chair requisitions. The club's going down the shitter at a furious rate, but it's OK, 'cos we're spending much less on chairs now.
Andy Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I wouldn't expect the MD to involve himself the cost of purchasing chairs in the smallest of firms, nevermind a Championship football club. Do we not have any Purchasing professionals at the club?!
davulsukur Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/hendry-handed-new-role-542447.aspx
JAL Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 http://www.rovers.co...ole-542447.aspx Is this designed to push through one or two of the youngsters that Shebby Sing mentioned, or plainly a demotion.
CapeTownRover Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 its a demotion imo, because they probably dont want to pay out his contract
danger19_80 Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 http://www.rovers.co...ole-542447.aspx "With three coaches, myself, Ian and Eric, actually doing practical things out on the training pitch would be limited." That mean Brunskill and Black not going anywhere then?
Mercer Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 http://www.rovers.co...ole-542447.aspx Jobs for the boys ! As many have highlighted before, alaways been a mystery what the feck the four of them did. IMO, Hendry should be booted out. I think it indicates just how incompetent our club has become. Everywhere you look, I think there is evidence of a distinct lack of commercial gravitas.
John Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Strange comments from Berg there - is he losing it under the spell of Venkys - also suggests the others may be kept on when changes are apparently imminent? "Colin is very happy with this, we now have more of an input with our daily routine and how we do things, he was one of three other coaches with myself.
Exiled in Toronto Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Never ceases to amaze me how the way things are worded sends this board into meltdown. "Shebby tells Berg to change backroom staff" maybe, just maybe was paraphrasing "Shebby told Berg to (go ahead with his request to) change backroom staff. But I suppose since Berg is being forced to sack Kean's deadbeats who helped get us to midtable in the Championship and recruit people he knows and trusts, he must be livid.
