pick32 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 How can anyone blame Appleton when we dominate every second of a game then the ref decides to play added added time then gives a weak penalty, grow up he made the right decisions tonight we were just screwed over.
Blackpool_Rover Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Appleton 2 games 1 Point...at home...sorry but @#/?! you think that was his fault!?....you moron
G Somerset Rover Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 5 minutes. It's like somebody is pushing us Rovers fans further and further, seeing how much we can take. No matter how much I say I don't care, that last second goal is heartbreaking.
Backroom DE. Posted January 22, 2013 Backroom Posted January 22, 2013 No way there should have been that much stoppage time for what it's worth. Ref has cheated us badly in that respect and deserves punishment. Still, we had it in our hands and just like everything else in the last two years we @#/? it up. Sick to death of this, the club is stuck in a cycle of constant disappointment and negativity. Nothing ever goes right.
pontyrover Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Anyone paying money to watch or support Venkys's controlled BRFC is the enemy right now. Nob off and support another team.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 No it's not it's just poor play. Good teams score at the death, bad teams concede.
Backroom Tom Posted January 22, 2013 Backroom Posted January 22, 2013 Devastating for that to happen First things first there should never have been more than 4 minutes maximum in that game but that aside David Goodwillie has just let his side down, his teammates battled for every ball for 95 minutes He's just signed his death warrant here Gutted gutted gutted but that's football
neophox Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 you think that was his fault!?....you moron He's the manager, he's responsible....Im very annoyed at the moment...I will probably calm down later....but I was hoping for more than 1 Point out of these two home games. Can't say Brighton and Charlton impressed.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 A case of referee waiting to even the penalty score up? 12,000+??...
Exiled in Toronto Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 If I were Goodwillie I wouldn't fancy going in to face Appleton; the Scottish boy wonder will be sent to some footballing Siberia pour encorager le autres I reckon
Blackpool_Rover Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 He's the manager, he's responsible....Im very annoyed at the moment...I will probably calm down later....but I was hoping for more than 1 Point out of these two home games. Can't say Brighton and Charlton impressed. We dominated them for 95 mins. Goodwillie let the team down and will; probably never wear a Rovers shirt again. Appleton did nothing wrong.
imy9 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 A massive improvement from the last game and clearly played well against a very good Brighton side. Onwards and upwards!
Waggy76 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Cannot comment on the game cos I didnt attend , but how can anyone be surprised that Brighton equalised ? We have been giving goals away all season at the death !
Backroom DE. Posted January 22, 2013 Backroom Posted January 22, 2013 To be fair if we dominated we should have scored more than one goal. You always run the risk of something like this happening if you don't put chances away. Same old story for us.
Waggy76 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 We dominated them for 95 mins. Goodwillie let the team down and will; probably never wear a Rovers shirt again. Appleton did nothing wrong. I hope you are right there cos he is absolute trash !
OJRovers Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Not scored from open play in 2 home games. What did goodwillie do?
watford-rover Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 how many points have we given away this season in the last 10 mins?
LeChuck Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 So what exactly did Goodwillie do to give away the penalty?
BuckyRover Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Good performance by all accounts. Very disappointed we didn't finish the game off but it's early days. Hope we can bag a result in the cup. Two winnable games after that. 4 points minimum. 6 preferably
jim mk2 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 how many points have we given away this season in the last 10 mins? ... and last season too. Poor play.
