Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted December 21, 2012 Moderation Lead Posted December 21, 2012 Love all the people flagging up Kean's inexperience.Yeah, 'cause Robbo's been a rock this season, ain't he? Those years will be vital when he's 30lbs overweight and letting in anything below chest-height. If players underperform consistently (no matter their experience) they should be dropped. Robbo is no exception. Exactly. He's been a liability for a while IMO. He played well against Burnley, but people shouldn't let that cloud their judgment.

m1st Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Can anyone blame Jake Kean for either of the goals against us last weekend? I wasn't at the game but from the TV high[?]-lights, both of them looked to be down to the four players in front of him.
Mercer Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Berg bemoans a lack of experience in Rovers' side and then alienates Robbo. I am sorry but sounding more Keanesque by the week. Wouldn't like to call tomorrow's match - only thing for certain, there wont be too much festive spirit amongst the 8,000 or 9,000 inside the stadium.
tonyoz Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Trivia up-date: Jordan is now only the 5th best striker in the Championship according to the Actim Index. But fear not, Scott is now the 2nd best defender! http://actim.pressassociation.com/
USABlue Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Playing a young untested lad in the sticks is going to cost us. Maybe tomorrow might be the first time. Sooner or later sure. BUt a low shot or ball coming over more than three yards from goal is gonna cost us with Robbo too so which is the lesser of two evils. I just have little faith in Robbo, have for some time. IS Kean the answer, dunno.
arbitro Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Brighton v Rovers from 1979 was featured on the Big Match Revisited this morning. We lost 2-1 despite a screamer from John Aston. Derek Fazackerley was playing. What I wouldn't give for a leader like him today.
davulsukur Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Ok. I was out last night after finishing work for Christmas. I am now hungover and basically can't be bothered to accept another defeat. Just get it sorted today please Rovers.
bob fleming Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 This wet stuff from the sky could do with stopping for a bit.
philipl Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 A postponement would save us from dropping another 3 points but the circular firing squad would start shooting on Boxing Day
Mullionvagrant Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 A postponement would save us from dropping another 3 points but the circular firing squad would start shooting on Boxing Day So do you think a loss today will result in Berg being removed from duty!! (Looking very much that way to me). Has a decision been made do you think? or is this pure speculation!
PAFELL Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 So do you think a loss today will result in Berg being removed from duty!! (Looking very much that way to me). Has a decision been made do you think? or is this pure speculation! Getting rid of Berg is probable the easy part. But getting another manager to come in and work with shebby, will be the difficult part.
neophox Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 That Sendomierski guy looks to me a real prospect but what happened to him? Start with Kean Lowe, Dann, Givet, Olsson Vukcevic, Murphy, Dunn, King Kazim, Rhodes
T.J.Newton Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Robinson's the most inconsistent GK we have had since Mimms, Everybody knows he's just a shot stopper(Glory hunter), He's incapable of organising his defence, flaps when long balls come in, Very Poor positional sense and I don't think he even knows that you are aloud to catch the ball(you don't have to punch it to an opponent!). Considering all the highly paid experienced senior players that have left the club in the last 2 years i cant believe hes still here, he should have been replaced by Bunn and moved on when we had the chance.
mobsol Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 looks like the game is very doubtfull, think its gonna be called off
chaddyrovers Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 What a bloody joke that the game is call off due to abit of rain
Backroom Tom Posted December 22, 2012 Backroom Posted December 22, 2012 I'm actually amazed this game has been called off I'm a mile from Ewood and its wet and soggy but my garden isn't waterlogged
cmb211087 Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 The official rovers twitter account confirmed it.
