What on earth? It's been wetter than this and we've still played. Is it raining that bad?!?

One of the last remaining good things about Rovers is our pitch is very good!

Yep, happy with that. Says it all when I'd rather my team didn't play because I have no faith in them doing anything other than humiliating themselves and the club.

I feel for any Brighton fans that were making the trip up to Ewood a d had already set off.

Well by 12:30 they'd probably nearly be here!!

This is one stick you can't beat the club with. The weather has been horrendous throughout the night and well into the morning. We have had continuous rain and that is something we cannot control.

Hopefully this works in our favour and we'll be more fitter than the opposition for a change come Boxing Day.

If our match is the only one called off in the Championship it'll be pretty embarrassing. It isn't raining that much worse in Blackburn than other parts of the country. It's been tipping down here since Thursday and Ipswich are playing today.

Berg is one lucky man game as been called off ,next boro away.

Think he probably would have wanted a confidence boosting win today heading into what looks like an uphill task on Boxing Day tbh

At least we can all have a happy Christmas now!!

Shame there now seems to be more ' men who cannot be named '

It rained here in Ewood fairly hard for a few hours this morning, but has now stopped. My back garden, a notoriously soggy bit of grass, isn't too bad. It's certainly fit for playing football on.

The FA will be as disinterested in this odd postponement as in everything else odd at Rovers

You can't be suggesting this is another conspiracy? The ref would have had final say. Or is he in on it too?

From the BBC

Ten Football League matches have been postponed as wet weather takes its toll on the fixture list

.

In League One, Brentford's game with Stevenage, Hartlepool against Portsmouth and Scunthorpe-Carlisle are off because of waterlogged pitches.

Six games are also off in League Two after pitch inspections, including the visit of leaders Gillingham to York and Wycombe's game against Bradford.

Nine of the 11 Blue Square Bet Premier games have been postponed.

Following heavy rain, there will be a second pitch inspections at Crewe and Northampton at 12:15 GMT before their respective games against Bournemouth and Northampton.

Rollocks! Just turn Sky on. Not many miles up the road Wigan are managing. Despite the adverse weather we have all the time in Lancashire how many games at Ewood have been called off down the years ? Not bloody many, i blame Kean though obviously :)

Hopefully this works in our favour and we'll be more fitter than the opposition for a change come Boxing Day.

A christmas card from Shebby would do the trick.
