rovers11 Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 probably a good thing for us that it's been called off. Been a car crash of a week for Rovers and fancied us to lose. Will Berg still be boss when the game gets played?

ABBEY Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Pitch is playing very good ball moving on ground ok.?? she must be lying then .
savage90 Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 The least Rovers should do for this is offer free travel for the game when it's played to the Brighton fans who've made the trip up. I think that's down to Brighton as the home side doesn't offer any kind of transport to the opposition fans paid for or not?
USABlue Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Conspiracy theories about the game being off? Bloody hell what is this board coming to. Did we brown bag the ref? and if we did why can't we have done it for some of th eplonkers that reffed our game, get a grip some people.
Ricky Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 The FA will be as disinterested in this odd postponement as in everything else odd at Rovers You're still my favourite. Is there nothing you won't try to sensationalise Phil.
cn174 Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 I think that's down to Brighton as the home side doesn't offer any kind of transport to the opposition fans paid for or not? No but as a goodwill gesture. I'm sure when our game at Fulham got cancelled a few years ago Fulham paid for the coach to the rearranged game.
tomphil Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 I think that's down to Brighton as the home side doesn't offer any kind of transport to the opposition fans paid for or not? If you cast your mind back a few years a certain game at Ewood against Sunderland was called off late. For the re arranged fixture Rovers paid for the coaches of about 3k Mackems. Under the previous regime but had we been away if i'd gone down to Brighton today i'd think it would be a good gesture.
PAFELL Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 The FA will be as disinterested in this odd postponement as in everything else odd at Rovers Come on. There are matches postponed up and down the country. This is not an odd postponement.
AggyBlue Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 At least I hadn't set off. Had a txt from a mate a pub full of Brighton fans, they aren't very H.P.Y.
dr who true blue Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 ?? she must be lying then . Watch motd tonight and make your own mind up then.
arbitro Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 If you cast your mind back a few years a certain game at Ewood against Sunderland was called off late. For the re arranged fixture Rovers paid for the coaches of about 3k Mackems. Under the previous regime but had we been away if i'd gone down to Brighton today i'd think it would be a good gesture. And Fulham paid for Rovers fans to travel to a rearranged game following a late postponement a few years ago.

Did we brown bag the ref? and if we did why can't we have done it for some of th eplonkers that reffed our game, get a grip some people. Tongue in cheek from my point of view. Do they not do humour in the US these days ?

That is correct. I remember that well. Copper asked me to go into the pub - 8 bells - and say the match is off. Told him to go and do it his self.
the original david brent Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 It's more complex than thisOf course your microclimate theory. In the sense that there has been a monsoon at ewood for the last 24 hours, but mill hill has been basking in sunshine?
Rover_Shaun Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Watch motd tonight and make your own mind up then. The ball maybe rolling IN WIGAN OVER 30 MILES AWAY Christ on a bike, they are all out in force today
ABBEY Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Watch motd tonight and make your own mind up then.So the twitter pic on the last page with standing water in the middle is faked as well as my friend lying. The pic looks like everywhere but the middle is ok.So yes the ball would roll but not through what that picture says. Go on i will ask why would MOTD being showing rovers.Your tardis is gone bllyballooo
dr who true blue Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 The ball maybe rolling IN WIGAN OVER 30 MILES AWAYChrist on a bike, they are all out in force today News flash new eden project to be built at ewood due to it's unique micro climate ...from the rest of blackburn.
Mike Graham Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Good result for Rovers today. A far better performance by our defenders, The Seagulls forwards did not get a look in. If we manage to keep up these clean sheets we may escape the trap door to League One. Well done lads, keep it up. Pity there were no chants against the Venkys although I did hear one or two against PNE "The Libel" Agnew. A better looking gate than previous games as well.

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 This is one stick you can't beat the club with. The weather has been horrendous throughout the night and well into the morning. We have had continuous rain and that is something we cannot control.Hopefully this works in our favour and we'll be more fitter than the opposition for a change come Boxing Day. Yeah, I live in Rochdale about 18 miles away and the rain has been non-stop. I went into my porch to pick up my paper and I got a large drop of water on my head ! I looked and the porch roof was leaking- bugger. Got a bucket in there now. I'm not surprised in the slightest we aren't playing.
ABBEY Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Pitch is playing very good ball moving on ground ok.YOU ANSWERED MY POST ABOUT THE BALL STICKING AT EWOOD WITH THE ABOVE
Mike Graham Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Sainsbury at Bamber Bridge had lots of leaks......just imagine what the roof of the Riverside would like?

If the Brighton fans are lucky Venky's might buy them each a pie. That seems to be their answer to fan unrest.
