philipl Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 This table with the exception of us is almost unbelievable. http://www.footballformguide.net/form/npower-championship And we are playing 4 of the top 9 in form teams in our run in.....

Stuart Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 And we are playing 4 of the top 9 in form teams in our run in..... If ever a stat designed to put the fear into me actually gave me some hope. We don't need to win all 9. 2 wins and 1 draw, I reckon... #keepingthefaith...just
cop Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 I don't think Rovers will get relegated, they are capable of comfortibly winning more games than the current bottom three, so I think with Bowyer in change Blackburn will finish mid-table.

Mm. 21 posts, Rossendale ? Good try matey but no cigar.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Not sure if this is a bad sign, but in my game of football manager Rovers got back to the prem and they've been given 9 red cards in 21 games. Lowe has been sent off 4 times and Etuhu 3. That's a thing I've noted. In the real world have we had anybody sent off this season ? Whilst I don't advocate players getting into trouble we've been Pussies this season in a very aggressive league.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Us, Hull and Bristol City are the only teams not to get a man sent off. 60 yellow cards, about average.

cop Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Absolute Poppycop Not really, two wins in the last six could have Rovers finish in the mid table region. It's very tight is the Championship. There could only be a two points from safety mind, ha ha. But my point is that I think Blackburn have a more realistic chance of stringing a few results together unlike the teams below below and around them.
Rover_Shaun Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Not really, two wins in the last six could have Rovers finish in the mid table region. It's very tight is the Championship. Two chromosomes less and Carlos Tevez would have been human

Backroom Silas Posted April 4, 2013 Backroom Posted April 4, 2013 That's a thing I've noted. In the real world have we had anybody sent off this season ? Whilst I don't advocate players getting into trouble we've been Pussies this season in a very aggressive league. You don't have to be advocating dangerous play for it to paint a picture though. Under Mark Hughes 04/05 season we were top of the discipline league with 72 yellows and 5 reds. Now that was a team fighting tooth and nail, scrapping every single ball, desperate to stay in the league. These lot............well, that is not their style, clearly.

G Somerset Rover Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 That 'games since win' table makes for even grimmer reading when you realise that Leicester's last win came against us too, and prior to that victory they had a run of winless games also. Their one win in ten or so games (minimum) - against us. And that is why we're going to go down. We can't even draw/win against teams on shocking runs like us. The players are gutless and spineless.
Backroom Tom Posted April 5, 2013 Backroom Posted April 5, 2013 If we lose tomorrow are we guaranteed to drop into the bottom three with Huddersfield playing Pererborough?
thenodrog Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 You don't have to be advocating dangerous play for it to paint a picture though. Bloody wrong that Blackeye Rovers reputation. We were the image og Hughes and nothing other than hard but fair. Pity there isn't a league table for delays caused by trainers continually coming on cos we'd have been at the bottom of that. Whilst Wenger, Houllier, Benitez and Mourhino cried 'foul' at every opportunity and played the press for all they were worth I cannot rem the likes of Moyes, Allardyce or the old RFW ever complaining about us being overly physical. Personally I quite liked the fact that we let the opposition know that we had been in a game and that we intimidated the opposition even on their own grounds. Win the mind games and the game is almost over.
rovers11 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 If we lose tomorrow are we guaranteed to drop into the bottom three with Huddersfield playing Pererborough? Not guaranteed. Barnsely would have to get at least a point away to Palace. No matter what the result is with Peterborough/Huddersfield, one of them will definitely be below us.
broadsword Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I don't think Rovers will get relegated, they are capable of comfortibly winning more games than the current bottom three, Last few weeks has most definitely shown otherwise. Have you seen the form table?
G Somerset Rover Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Last few weeks has most definitely shown otherwise. Have you seen the form table? Some people really do have their head in the sand. As you say, one look at the form table is enough to convince me that we're down. Maybe after we lose to Wednesday tomorrow the penny will drop.
broadsword Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 It's nothing new, people have had their blinkers on for over 2 years now.
Howler Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 shows how far we've fallen when we're hoping for the likes of Peterborough and Barnsley to lose so we don't get relegated to League 1. Their squads probably get paid less per week in total than Murphy and Etuhu combined get........
Waggy76 Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 shows how far we've fallen when we're hoping for the likes of Peterborough and Barnsley to lose so we don't get relegated to League 1. Their squads probably get paid less per week in total than Murphy and Etuhu combined get........ Very true , but I still think Peterboro , Barnsley and Bristol City will go down .. Blackburn Rovers deserve to be relegated but will stagger over the line in the next few weeks !
John Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 We are sinking fast but there too many games left for us to get too concerned - think Bowyer has enough about him to get enough points plus few injured players coming back.
Ozz Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Not guaranteed. Barnsely would have to get at least a point away to Palace. No matter what the result is with Peterborough/Huddersfield, one of them will definitely be below us.If/when we lose by three goals today, and Huddersfield and Posh draw, they both go above us. As would Wednesday of course. And if Barnsley then get owt at Palace too, we will be second bottom.
G Somerset Rover Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 We are sinking fast but there too many games left for us to get too concerned - think Bowyer has enough about him to get enough points plus few injured players coming back. Don't be fooled John. When did you last see these boys put a shift in? IMO we will lose today and then the writing really will be on the wall.
