We can't buy a win chaps, the writing has been on the wall since early in the season for me.

The players in the main have no pride, no passion and don't really care. I don't blame just them, as it must be difficult playing for a different manager week in week out but some of them are a disgrace to the profession.

League one for us next season, as Preston Blue said to me earlier, we’ll get to a few new grounds if nothing else.

20yrs to build this club up, 2yrs for the KEANS in Pune to knock it down, they should hold their heads in shame.

I agree Blueboy, the teams that we need to focus on finishing ahead of are Huddersfield and Peterborough. Critical that we win both of our upcoming home games.

I think that possibly 7/8 points will be enough with our goal difference advantage over those 2 sides.

Come on Gav - we agree on alot of things but even you must have known we where virtually nailed on for relegation

Come on Kamy - where the hell do you think we will get these points from?

Very surprised by your thinking here

Don't think the results last night were that bad. For me, Sheff W took themselves out of the scrap when they beat us at the weekend so not too bothered they beat Millwall (who, incidentally, must be feeling a bit nervous especially with their pile up of fixtures). Barnsely getting a point was a bit unexpected but they are still only 1 game away from us and we have a game in hand. Anyway, I didn't think either of these two teams would get relegated before last nights games and I still don't.

Whoever loses the Hudds/Wolves game on Saturday is in real danger and I fancy Peterborough to struggle in their next two against Watford and Brighton. The main issue is - we can't buy a win!

I am not saying we will get these points, rather that this is what may be enough.

We are in deep trouble, the 2 home games against Derby and Huddersfield are critical.

Back to back wins needed for any chance of survival, so perfect time to send the manager on a midweek trip to India to meet the loons. Bonkers.

If we manage to somehow win our next two games it would catapult us right up the table, it's that tight. My glass remains half empty though.

I see us finishing second bottom with Bristol City not that far behind.

Other results doesn't really matter at this point. It's all in our own hands either way and several of the other teams at the bottom will be facing each other before the season is over so anything is possible if you can string 2-3 wins together. Unfortunately the hard and depressing facts are that we have only mustered 11(!!!) wins over 40 games (on par with Bristol City), are in the bottom 3 and have a club in total chaos.

I seriously believe that if we decided to play our U21/reserves for the rest of the season we might survive despite the fact that they seem to be struggling as well (throw in Dunn and Rhodes for good measure). I believe they at least will relish the chance and show some heart.

There is a defeatist attitude throughout the club at moment and we look like dead cert for relegation. We've been lacking leadership on and off the field for a long time and unless some of our overpaid "players" remember where they misplaced their balls the writing is on the wall. But by god do I hope I'm proved wrong....

Wednesday have 10 points in the last 4 games after looking in big trouble, problem is we don't have the fight for that kind of form

I think we are down but it still is in our own hands, somehow win the next two and we are out of the drop zone with a game in hand, we all know that won't happen though.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel.

The tragedy is we should be able to beat both teams at home and then be safe with something to spare. We beat derby away in the cup quite convincingly.

Intuition tells me that we'll meekly surrender though.

Whatever happens I'll breathe a sigh of relief come Tues night because it's causing quite a bit of anxiety, wondering whether we could actually do it. It's the hope that kills you.

To me Barnsley will be safe. When I saw them vs us at Oakwell, even though they clearly lacked quality they showed a hell of a lot of fight. Even down to 10 men (due to injury) and a goal behind they had a right good go at us, but we caught them on the break. That's the type of fight we're lacking. The new managers managed to get them a bit better coordinated and find some quality somewhere so it's not too suprising they're out of the relegation zone.

Sheffield Wednesday suprised me. They looked rather weak imo with lots of loan signings not really working or them scoring many. However a couple of wins and they look very comfortable.

Suprsingly after recent results Wolves and Blackpool will be getting nervous. Especially Blackpool - how many have they actually won under Ince? Neither manger is particularly inspiring and a few poor results and they could slip back into it.

For me it's Huddersfield who are the team in the biggest danger. Not getting too many results, seem quite a fragile team, no stars, momentum and a horrendous goal difference. They're my pick to go down.

A win and a draw from our next two games is the minimum. We cannot afford to loose to Huddersfield whatsoever.

Sums up the situation well. The Huddersfield game is going to be horrible IMO. Typical end of season relegation tooth and nail hoof-fest. The kind that can go either way if both teams will give their everything. Sadly, it's unlikely we'll give anything at all at this rate.

Thanks.

Also forgot to mention Wolves have 6 first team players out for the rest of the season. Any team would struggle with those kind of losses.

It will be horrible because we will lose. Tuesday night, this shower won't be arsed. Come to think of it have we actually won a midweek match this season?

We will LOSE, but we could be wobbly too so loose is not quite so out of place

I think we're @#/? and can't see us escaping relegation.

We have the joint lowest wins of 11 with Bristol City and just can't see another win as there's no fight or passion on the pitch and hasn't been for a long time.
