Proudtobeblue&white Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Gone full circle - offer WHU unlimited money to get Sam back, get promoted and we can forget the last 2 years ever happened! Tongue firmly in cheek - good luck HB, you really should have listened to yourself and not bothered. SS should fall on his own sword - no confidence they will ever get it right.....just Kean off Venkys!

Mike Graham Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Rhodes must be wondering what he's let himself in for. A nice new Lambourgini when I saw him at Northcote Manor.
onlyonejackwalker Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 The article states that the previous odious plank was unceremoniously shown the door so is not 100% accurate. Can we take it with confidence he has gone? Good luck if so to Henning. None of my memories have been tarnished and he would be best served away from the mad house anyway.
SouthAussieRover Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Calm down dear, calm down. You really do have a problem. Settle. Go and watch some ballet!
Mullionvagrant Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 I've checked NewsNow and several sites. No news as yet. i never said he has-but that article in India originated from somewhere and i'm guessing not from the person who it has speculated by some is thought to have leaked rovers news in the u.k-i.e Berg's party antics!
Backroom Tom Posted December 27, 2012 Backroom Posted December 27, 2012 so you would be happy with the Directors who would be left to make that decision would you- o.k (perhaps a 1.5??? added in)!! I think I would be happier with Agnew and Shaw making the decision than I would Shebby yes But that's not to say I want them there, the dream of Finn / Williams or anyone with a tenth of their knowledge and integrity coming in just isn't going to happen
Mike Graham Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Settle.Go and watch some ballet! Thanks for the advice SAR.....I am off to Barnsley instead.....perhaps I should have stuck with the ballet?!
Waggy76 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 If it is true , Singhs position is untenable , but then again we are talking Venkys , he could be the next manager !
Mike Graham Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Who would be bonkers enough to come and manage Rovers when they have no say and no control.....unless it is only for the inevitable compensation.
Waggy76 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Who would be bonkers enough to come and manage Rovers when they have no say and no control.....unless it is only for the inevitable compensation. Singh , Kean ?
Mullionvagrant Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Who would be bonkers enough to come and manage Rovers when they have no say and no control.....unless it is only for the inevitable compensation. Well it's looking like they have somebody in mind....welcome Jordan Ali? (SORRY POOR CHOICE OF WORD WELCOME). I SUSPECT SHEBBY IN A DIRECTOR of football ROLE MAKING DECISIONS WITH A COACH I.E ALI APPOINTED sorry caps locks on...
Waggy76 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Well it's looking like they have somebody in mind....welcome Jordan Ali? (SORRY POOR CHOICE OF WORD WELCOME). I SUSPECT SHEBBY IN A DIRECTOR of football ROLE MAKING DECISIONS WITH A COACH I.E ALI APPOINTED sorry caps locks on... That would be an interesting development ! Not sure that would go down well with the supporters but Venkys don't give a poo anyway !
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Personally think that Berg has been unlucky - but even so the squad is still under performing - and I am not sure we can lay the blame at the chaos behind the scenes for this - though we could possibly blame the lack of fitness training in pre-season.
McClarky Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Surely this is the last chance to get it right. They need to get an experienced manager in and need to do it quick as we can't rely on Black etc stepping up when they have already been told they have no future at the club anyway. Hope it's Hughes, but apart from him there were loads of good candidates last time so pick 1 and get them in this week.
Andy Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Now if only they'd been this decisive and prompt when the bald liar was here... We'd still be in the Premiership. However, we now must, must, must appoint an experienced man who knows how to achieve promotion. No fannying around this time. Glen - if you could emphasise this to your mates/bosses, we'd all be grateful.
jim mk2 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Any confirmation of this ? Nothing on newswires at present. If true, he had to go because his record is appalling ... though he should never have been appointed. Singh should also walk. And why did the owners not act so decisively to sack Kean ?
Backroom Tom Posted December 27, 2012 Backroom Posted December 27, 2012 Announcement imminent according to andy cryer Also lets not forget one thing - he didn't let the dingles get the win over us
McClarky Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/blackburn_rovers/news/10128601.Berg_set_for_the_sack/ Shouldn't they sack Berg and then tell everyone rather than the other way round? We have been here so many times before haven't we. He'll be relying on the pursuasive qualities of his wife now presumably.
Flopsy Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/blackburn_rovers/news/10128601.Berg_set_for_the_sack/Shouldn't they sack Berg and then tell everyone rather than the other way round? You mean like Williams & Hughes sacked Tony Parkes?
Jock Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Radio 5 say Berg and other coaches have been sacked.
The Dart Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 I am also one of the people who have not lost any respect for Berg, he was a good player and that's how I'll remember him.
ada2020 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 I am also one of the people who have not lost any respect for Berg, he was a good player and that's how I'll remember him. Indeed, simply was not the man to do the job. Had every right to give it a go once offered it, should not tarnish his reputation as a rovers legend.
Roverthechimp Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 A decent player but a @#/? awful manager. Still his retirement fund will now be looking a lot rosier...
Grez Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 If true I am disappointed for berg, an honest man who joined our club at a crap time. If they've cleared everyone out I can only assume Hughes et al are about to rejoin
