Silencio Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 We won't get Hughes. I'd maybe be happy with Billy Davies...
Lie_still_Rover Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 As the coaches have been potted too I think it would be someone who brings their own team, Hughes or Hoddle. I think the boat will be pushed out now in the slim hope of salvaging something.
Paul Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Not a clue. I hope it's not Sparky, going back rarely works and I'd rather remember the good times.
Backroom Tom Posted December 27, 2012 Backroom Posted December 27, 2012 Jeff Kenna has met with Lennox Lewis in a bunker in Riga, the only stumbling block is he wants to bring in Sebastien Perez and Graeme Le Saux but they are unwilling to work together at this point
Lie_still_Rover Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Hughes played for the club, managed us with relative success.i know we're in a mess. I think he'd see it as both a challenge and a route to rebuilding a battered rep.
benhben Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Dont even care anymore, We all know deep down that whoever we appoint will probably be the wrong decision and a complete farce.
SouthAussieRover Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Go on then. Wish list? Venkys feck off. You?
Stuart Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Souness and Tugay? Hughes and Bowen? Cannon and Ball?
ada2020 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Souness and Tugay?Hughes and Bowen? Cannon and Ball? I hear your third choice is very much available and honoured to be linked with the post.
bob fleming Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 It'll be Shebby Singh and Judan Ali. Singh will manage 'Live' on Radio Lancashire. Steve Kean will be brought in to bring some much needed experience. Homer Simpson will be appointed head fitness coach and Paul Agnew will be made Prime Minister in June.
Waggy76 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 If I was Hughes it is looking like us or Notts Forest ? Can't help thinking Forest are a better bet and Singh would have to go for there to be any chance ! Don't rule out Hendry , the longer it goes on etc a win at Barnsley however unlikely would put him in pole position! For me Mark Hughes but I cannot see it ...
chaddyrovers Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Di matteo fav for forest job according to most newspapers
den Posted December 27, 2012 Author Posted December 27, 2012 Wish list?Venkys feck off. You? Absolutely Don. All we're doing at the moment is moving the deckchairs around. Still, SS must have someone lined up and I'd be surprised if they're not in place before Saturday. At the moment, whoever takes the job might find himself with an impossible task. How things change in 2 years eh?
ChrisyG Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Souness and Tugay?Hughes and Bowen? Cannon and Ball? Little and Large?
Stuart Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 "Manager available now that wasn't before". Hughes Solskjaer Any others? Little and Large? Allardyce is gainfully employed, not sure about Sammy Lee.
Mullionvagrant Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 It'll be Shebby Singh and Judan Ali. Singh will manage 'Live' on Radio Lancashire. Steve Kean will be brought in to bring some much needed experience. Homer Simpson will be appointed head fitness coach and Paul Agnew will be made Prime Minister in June. Well i maintain that the first 1/2 of this status will be the actual case. You have dressed it up correctly though as the joke appointment it will be.
M-K Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 I vote for Morpheus from The Matrix. "You're better than this. Stop trying to score, and *score!*"
Mozzer Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 any one of kenny daglish , mark hughes and alan curbishley would do for me ...but seriously why would any decent manager want to manage us . we are a shambles of a club !!!!!
m1st Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Don't know if it'd be possible [he may have legal constraints following his dismissal by Forest] and can't imagine he'd want to come to such a badly-run outfit but I wouldn't turn down Sean O'Driscoll; he knows the Division, after all; and his teams have always played decent football. Plus, he'd know any weak spots in their team for New Year's Day!
rovers11 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 My money is on Hughes. Guessing he`'ll take over before Saturday.
