[Archived] New Manager

All depends, Did anyone read my Blog :tu:

I assume you mean the 'snake' one!

One last question Glen - no idea if you'll have the answer. If Agnew and shaw depart, who will be selecting the new board members. Also why was the sacking of Hunt authorised when he seemed to have a appreciation of the problems being caused by the lack of structure at the club?

ps. when we were relegated I always remember some journo reporting that Anderson, Kean and Agnew were seen together at pub discussing the fall out, that picture has always stayed with me when it comes to the trouble at rovers, I would imagine Agnew has a lot to thank Anderson for, possibly.

It was mentioned by a journalist that Anderson was there but he quickly retracted it and said he wasn't and the place in question was the bar in front of the entrance to the training ground

The answer to your second question points to team Kean, as does so many others who tried.

Who would come in if they did depart I do not know, we have all witnessed these trips before and they always come back

So who's the new manager then?

I dont know, like everyone else I just hope he is experienced enough to take this team forward and comes very very quickly

Some very interesting(or entertaining at least)posts tonight cheers, but i think you should call it a night you don't want to say to much on here(for many reasons!).

I'm very confused Glen M. Can i try and understand what you've said?

- Berg was nobody's 1st choice. He was a compromise because Team Kean (shaw & Agnew) couldn't get their own men (JA's boys?) in? Do Agnew, Shaw & Singh members have to all agree when appointing a manager or is a majority vote?

- Berg was given free reign until after the 3rd game then Agnew started watching his every move and interfering with team selection? Why would Berg allow this?

- The Pune mob are now aware of where Agnew's & Shaw's 'loyalties' really lie and have been summoned to be sacked?

- MacDonald is another Kean and it's Agnew and Shaw who want him in so they can carry on the 'agency' work?

- Singh wants an experienced manager?

If the above is true I can understand your support for Singh, it's just a shame he comes across like a clown.

this threads better than xmas EastEnders tonight, now impossible to know who to believe, theoreticaly it could be said that Glen is just using the same kind of manipulative spin techniques on behalve of Singh that he's claiming Agnew and Shaw are using.

F-knows, lets see what happens, but right now i equally don't trust any of these people.

Confusing isn't it......I think it might come down to their end motives.

With Shebby, I presume he wants as hands-on role as possible within the managing/coaching aspect of the club.......and that's why he didn't want an experienced manager.

Or maybe he knew that an experienced manager wouldn't want him in any capacity and he just wants to be involved in some way......but why move over here (barring the money which he probably gets a lot for doing punditry work anyway) just to play a bit-part role......I think he wants to be heavily involved.......that is far from acceptable.

With Shaw/Agnew I'm not sure......it used to be about self-preservation for them and for Kean.....but now Kean is gone, what do they want? Just to be continually employed here?.....and they know Shebby doesn't want that?........something darker involving JA?

Either way, there can't be many people left who's first priority is what is best for the football club and that's why they all need to get to f##k.

Will quickly cover these points.

1.Berg was no-bodies first choice and neither Shaw or Agnew had a JA client as their number 1, but all three did have to agree on a name yes,

2.Berg picked the team made the subs, however certain players were left out through influence, and not singhs, Agnew did indeed Shadow Berg like he did Kean

3.The Pune crew as you call them have been given some information and wish to ask questions, any other reason they are there i'm not privvy to.

4.Mcdonald is indeed recommended by Shaw/Agnew

5.Singh I think originally didnt have a clue what he wanted, and for all we know probably fancied it himself, however amongst the chaos I'm lead to believe India has spoken and nothing less than an experienced Manager will be appointed

I support Blackburn Rovers and have no alliances to any of them, I have spoken to all three on many occassions, and my opinion is mirror imaged by most on here. None should be making decisions for this club, we need the right people with the right experience.

So to summarise not everything is as it seems, one half of the club have PR Media experience and can spin what they want, the other half is just a TV pundit with no PA and his own voice.

One issues strategic statements and leaks to friends, the other just comes out with wild statement to make the pantomine even more believeable.

What that TV pundit could really do with is someone to promote him on various websites, social media and forums.... Oh hang on!!

Ok cheers for that. I must ask again though, why would berg suddenly allow himself to be influenced by Agnew as regards team selection etc?

Haha, Cynic!

Ha! That guy should turn his hand to radio or Sky soon. I reckon he'll be on I'm a Celebrity or Dancing on Very Thin Ice in a few months. Anywhere but Ewood would be good. Derek can do DIY on Sky and Aggers can do the dictionary thingy on Countidown (Northern Ireland only).

Interesting stuff posted tonight!

Meanwhile, Billy Davies' odds in to 8/1, maybe purely on the basis that Shaw was "visiting" the loons in Pune, but I think we'd all take him unless we actually want to accentuate the club's failure, just to get it all over and done with. To be honest, I'm close to being at that point.

So Shebby doesn't mind if it's an experienced manager?

And Shaw/Agnew presumably don't? But Shaw originally wanted Holloway did he not?

By "lead to believe" is that a hunch, or are you fairly adamant?
