Sean O'Driscoll was at the game today watching - potential new manager for one of the teams??

the game was Barnsley and Rovers

Rubbish, we don't want him, let's hope he was just taking the game in.

Shebby has said that Kevin McDonald or Ali will NOT become manager or coach at Rovers

sounds like Glen Mullan was right.

Listening to the interview he was talking about right now, especially with the Ali thing. He also praised MacDonald for being a very good coach. Then he also mentioned the need for coaching over management.

Maybe they won't end up coming to the club but he was far from firm with his responses, he clearly left some room for a u-turn.

Has he said that they will not be chief football facilitator? They could come up with any host of bizarre titles to get around that statement, if they even bother to attempt to get around the statement, of course.

Lets pretend that Singh does have the best interests of the club at heart and giving it his best shot.

The alarming statement was about the club not not having a problem with a lack of management just coaching, so we are basically going to make the very same mistakes that we made 2 years ago.

No management from the owners/the board/the team, yet Singh thinks a few blokes who know how to deploy a counter attacking system away from home will make everything rosy.

The Clarets once tried to set their manager on fire, i fear we are heading towards something as awful as well.

I think although Shebby did not fill anyone with any confidence, he did pretty much confirm what I was trying to explain last night and have done throughout the week.

These leaks to that red top are coming from 2 directors who want him gone, best bit of it, is they aint even Shebby Singhs targets. This is one massive loup which goes all the way back to Steve Kean before he even worked at Rovers and is continuing with a devastating effect.

I did point out last week, or it maybe week before, that Agnew and Berg told Singh that the Action Group was leaking all this information to Alan Nixon, which most would know is untrue as we despise each other.

This was a clear plot to break off Singhs communication with the group as too much truth was hitting India, unfortunately for Agnew he is too late, a direct line of Communication into Venkys is now open.

Leaks of truth coming out , people can handle, but when they are fabricated stories to make someone look really bad, and with it make the club look stupid then thats a step too far,

Who is doing all the public talking? Shebby Singh, whilst Agnew and Shaw hide behind the doors and leaks filter out everywhere which are not true.

Does that excuse Shebby having the role of running the club? No, but its being played out worse than it is, when you take all the rumours away which are not true

It's all a bit too conspiratorial for me matey, maybe it's time for you to take a back seat before someone gets hurt. Either that or learn to explain events in a manner that can be understood by most of the people on this site.

I have no doubts there is a conspiracy , by whom not sure but it would appear the net is closing on a certain individual or individuals ....

The name Jerome Anderson keeps cropping up , that I find most odd , seeing he said himself I ahve nothing to do with the club !

I didn't hear the interview as travelling by train from Barnsley but it sounds like MacDonald could still be coming in some capacity.

That still leaves me fearful that we won't even appoint a manager and Shebby will continue to pull the strings.

For those saying MacDonald is wanted by Shaw rather than Shebby, sorry but I do not believe it.

Shaw wanted a proper appointment after Kean and this has all the hallmarks of Singh wanting to stay involved with the first team.

Glen, can you confirm whether MarkF1875'S tweet from 6 hours ago is correct?

Rovers will appoint a new manager on January 1st. And no i don't know the name but appointment will be Tuesday.

Also, as ridiculous as Shebby sounds, I am firmly behind him over Shaw and Agnew, they are the real poison in this football club.

Shebby pretty much just said that McDonald was not his call and is unlikely to be coming in , but he was just trying to be respectful in his dismissivenes(!) as McDonald is a very well respected coach.

His nose probably grew as he said this, makes it up as he goes along.

We were told Berg was not his choice and I don't believe that either.

Too many journos' saying exactly the opposite.

Hope to listen to the interview later on.

Thanks for filling me in on some of the detail.
