perthblue02 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Savage loving it tonight. Who you think he is hinting at who's put his cv in ? Hughes? Robbie Savage @RobbieSavage8 Lots of experience in premier league, also has one of best coaches there is he wants the job now he must wait !! Robbie Savage @RobbieSavage8 Hopefully they will choose the right man , the biggest decision in rovers recent history, the man I know has put his cv in (yes I know) !
Backroom Tom Posted December 31, 2012 Backroom Posted December 31, 2012 Savage is making it sound like Hughes but in reality I imagine its someone else he's talking about
the original david brent Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 For those who don't follow twitter, savage has tweeted he has spoken to somebody who knows the club inside out, they want the job and he has made the club aware
dwayne cage Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Savage is making it sound like Hughes but in reality I imagine its someone else he's talking about Chris Coleman
chaddyrovers Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Mark Bowen??? maybe he is fed up being Hughes's number 2
perthblue02 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Chris Coleman Thought that at first then went off the idea when he said 'also has one of best coaches there is"
Gav Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Really sad, but half the pub are glued to the site and twitter waiting for news. We are all slaves to the Venkys brand, aren't we? Ps - Kean off Agnew you Keaning Kean.

perthblue02 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Is Bowen still running the reserves at QPR? just checked , he's still listed as a coach at QPR contracted to 2014 . EDIT 21st of December 2012 Daily Mail - Redknapp confirmed technical director Mike Rigg and Mark Hughes’ assistants Mark Bowen and Eddie Niedzwiecki have left the club and said bringing in Ian Broomfield, whom he worked with at Tottenham, Could this tie in with comments about somebody becoming available made by singh as they have only recently agreed their pay offs with QPR?
Waggy76 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I think Savage hinted the same on Saturday night ....
beastlove Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Bowen is a good number two. he would also be a massive risk and not one we can afford to take
Andy Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Might be Paul Jewell? I'd take Jewell. Mainly 'cos I stuck a couple of quid on him at 60's earlier
Amo Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Bowen is a good number two. he would also be a massive risk and not one we can afford to take No one's saying it's Bowen (in a managerial capacity anyway).
perthblue02 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 No one's saying it's Bowen (in a managerial capacity anyway). I read his tweet as Hughes and the ",also has one of best coaches there is" as Bowen Perhaps Savage has chucked his hat into the ring, who's he mates with that's a good coach ,lol
Amo Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Well whoever he is, if he's half as good as Sav makes it out, Venky's won't touch him.
neophox Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Savage played for Rovers when Hughes was manager, Bowen is one of the best coaches in the country. = so Hughes has put his CV in then.
chaddyrovers Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 i think GM was hinting at a head coach with director of football like WBA setup. Mark Bowen has head coach. but who bloody knows with these ppl.
ChesterRover Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I, like everyone else, would prefer a decent experienced manager, sadly I believe we only have a choice of dregs. In reality would Mark Bowen be a bad choice if the alternatives are Jewell, Brown and the like?
