chaddyrovers Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 MacDonald is coming as new coach under a new manager like McLeish or O'Driscoll. or coming in as Head Coach under a DoF Shebby Singh.
adsfortheblues Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 I heard someone matching this description: ...was seen escorted into Ewood. Terminator? I hope he's been assigned with terminating Singh.
RevidgeBlue Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Has to be said that with this guy working for McCleish, then all fingers point to him? Exactly what I was thinking. Don't rate him at all myself but desperate times call for desperate measures I suppose.
Hasta Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 It's bad news when Avram Grant would be a godsend.
Neal Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Exactly what I was thinking. Don't rate him at all myself but desperate times call for desperate measures I suppose. I used to like Mccleish... Thought the football he had Birmingham playing was tremendous, but then relegation and his Villa stint has tainted my vue of him. At this point, a manager with some experience is better than no manager and no experience.
Amo Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 It's going to be someone completely ass, of that we can all agree.
LeChuck Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Thought the football he had Birmingham playing was tremendous. What?! They played atrocious football. I used to point at them in a "at least we're not as bad as them" manner when Allardyce was in charge.
LDRover Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 It's bad news when Avram Grant would be a godsend. Eddy Grant would be a godsend buddy
RevidgeBlue Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 I think hopes of McLeish are in vain. "Hopes" is definitely putting it too strongly. Hoping it's not him would be nearer the mark.
yoda Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Eddy Grant would be a godsend buddy A developement grant to turn us into a football club again would be better
Mr. E Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 The very last hope would be Mark Hughes, and even then our hopes of surviving this tumorous cancer called Venkys are one in a million. Surely it will be pure madness if it's anyone but Hughes, yet at the same time...we have had pure madness every day for the past 2 years. Lord help us.
alderson777 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 So we are all pretty certain it isn't going to be logical, just going of Andy Cryer's tweets it doesnt look promising at all! it is looking like a very bleak IMO!
bigbrandjohn Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 if you were Hughes, would you choose Forest with their owners or us with our owners. What a dilemma.
chaddyrovers Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Wonder if it is Sven Goran Erikkson as manager with derek faz n kevin macd as coaches
Gally Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 if you were Hughes, would you choose Forest with their owners or us with our owners. What a dilemma. The way that things turned out at QPR, I think we may be alone in still rating Hughes. Saw the Forest fans interviewed on SSN earlier, all of which seemed to be pretty anti-Hughes. I think he may be waiting a while before he gets the chance with a club like ours, despite the circus behind the scenes
dr who true blue Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Wonder if it is Sven Goran Erikkson as manager with derek faz n kevin macd as coaches That would work for me.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 That would work for me. Sven's not the man to turn around a sinking ship.
Amo Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Doesn't really who comes in, does it? It's all equatable to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. The club needs fumigating if it's ever to survive this.
watford-rover Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 is judan ali still mooching about the club? wouldnt surprise me to see him get put in with mcdonald as his assistant to try and help him out with his experience.
Stuart Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Doesn't really who comes in, does it? It's all equatable to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. The club needs fumigating if it's ever to survive this. Hey those chairs were a bargain!
MGAndy Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 It won't be Hughes. No chance. 1. he has more intergrity and sense than to come here. 2. He always brings his own staff and we are about to appoint two "coaches". It won't be Di Matteo... He just won the Champions league FFS I'm sure he has better options than us. It will be two coaches plus a "manager" or more likely a "director of football". It could easily be Shebby and it could easily be Steve Kean... I wouldn't bet agaianst either. Faz and Macdonald as coaches - probably correct with that one !
broadsword Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Eddy Grant would be a godsend buddy Is he dancing? 'Cos I'm asking. So, no manager before Saturday but we'll have two coaches in place by then. ARE THESE PEOPLE UTTERLY @#/? BRAin dead banjo strumming arse wits of the highest @#/? order or @#/? what? @#/? IT, I KNOCKED THE CAPS LOCK OFF. YOU APPOINT A CARETAKER, THEN A MANAGER, THEN COACHES. TYPICAL BACKWARD @#/? UP CLUELESS DERANGED USELESS RETARDED MONKEY @#/? @#/? WITS WHO COULDN'T FIND THEIR @#/? ARSES WITH BOTH @#/? HANDS. Unbelievable. They'll never learn so they'll carry on making it worse. Makes me so angry.
