Blue Cabbage Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 By the way, Scandalmongering is an amazing word, well done MM & JBizzle, poetry...

bringdunnback Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I think they have based that on past information, don't think that its a new quote that. Unfortunately. Without a doubt a new manager is needed straight-away. We don't need people suggesting Gary Bowyer. Peter Taylor however would be an awful suggestion and I seriously hope he is not in contention. Absurd!
philipl Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Given Venky's track record, it is certain to be an absurdly stupid appointment.
dwayne cage Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Anybody take Bowyer as manager. Already got more wins than Berg?
John Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 To coincide with my hangover, got a horrible scary feeling about his appointment - all money is going on Taylor.
Tugay-is-God Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 No claims to be 'ITK', only post what I hear. Sometimes proves right, sometimes it doesn't.As for scandalmongering, Taylor odds on from nowhere - that's factual isn't it ? Come on, you do spout a whole lot of rubbish.
roverandout Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 no, wouldnt take bowyer as manager, done well in his two games, but hasnt changed the fact that we need experience, now is a good time to appoint someone as we are on the up again, cant make a knee-jerk reaction appointment on a couple of performances.
G Somerset Rover Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Cryer says no appointment tonight, so enjoy the rest of your New Years day's! Cheers Venkys.
Blue blood Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Need a proven manager. Will see what we get. IF it is Taylor my initial reaction is underwhelmed again. Venkeys certainly could do worse - he seems like a good coach according to all reports and has experience. Performance wise though you have to question his results - not one bit of his managerial career can be defined as a success. Think even the shambles that we are, we should be able to do better than Taylor.
MarkBRFC Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Cryer says no appointment tonight, so enjoy the rest of your New Years day's! Cheers Venkys. He also said 'nothing happening' on boxing night.
Glosrover Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 At least Taylor is a proper manager - always passionate on the sidelines and can dish out a bollocking. Best we can hope for under Venkys. Ok, his record in recent years isn't great but he did well with Hull and made Beckham England captain. he's never been the same since he split with Brian Clough..........
alexanders Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Dont like this: @MarkF1875: Manager decision has been delayed till next week. Gary Bowyer will take charge on Saturday v Bristol City
Steve Moss Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Dont like this:@MarkF1875: Manager decision has been delayed till next week. Gary Bowyer will take charge on Saturday v Bristol City Perhaps they're seeing if Bowyer collects another scalp, giving him the chance to lay claim to the manager role and save Venkys a lot of money all in one go?
G Somerset Rover Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Oh for flying @#/? sake. The circus just goes on and on. I'd wager they're looking to do it on the cheap with Bowyer if he keeps the victories up. Mark not a little concerned that Shebby originally promised him and the lads today as the day?
jim mk2 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Today was first back-to-back win since October, when Eric Black was in charge. Solution: Bowyer and Black as joint managers
Backroom DE. Posted January 1, 2013 Backroom Posted January 1, 2013 Oh for flying @#/? sake. The circus just goes on and on. I'd wager they're looking to do it on the cheap with Bowyer if he keeps the victories up.Mark not a little concerned that Shebby originally promised him and the lads today as the day? It wouldn't be the first time Shebby has made BRFCAG look stupid.
Ricky Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Don't see an issue with it going to next week. The issue was Shebby going on the radio and saying it would be sorted by today. If rather they take a week and get it right than rush it and cock it up again.
G Somerset Rover Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 It wouldn't be the first time Shebby has made BRFCAG look stupid.Just a shame that some have been singing it from the rooftops, therefore getting a lot of hopes up that perhaps some order had been restored. When in fact it's business as usual, and Mark, Glen, Cryer to name just a few have been made to look a little silly.Another point to note - a week delay will be a week less that a new man will have to analyse the squad, before hopefully, adding a couple of additions. Farcical is putting if mildly.
alexanders Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Strenge thing is Shbby saying on BBC not long ago that we could expect s new man in 2day. Shaw / Agnew winning?
blue_n_white99 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 With all the in-fighting in the boardroom, did anybody really expect a speedy conclusion to this? It took five weeks last time and we didn't have the knobenders little and large running off to India to tell Miss.
Mr. E Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 The only thing we know for sure it seems is that once again Venkys don't seem to have a clue of what they're doing and are just stabbing in the dark.
ABBEY Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I really wish fans would stop this nonsense about 'if it is so-and-so I'm finished'. Give any new manager the chance to prove himself. What are we? Chelsea supporters? remember 10 games is a lifetime ...
