Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I don't want to go to Barnsley, as Elvis Costello very nearly sang. That was a good one he did though - " Watching The Defectives ".

perthblue02 Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 another of his was "alisingh's army" perhaps Elvis Costello was the nostradamus of BRFC and another "Can't go up for going down "
jumpin' Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Wasn't it John Cooper Clarke? Anyroad, fost away of the season and memories of '21 today' & when the lights went off in an earlier match and they turned round in their NUM donkey jackets & all t'Rovers brayed, happy days. Please go venkys. A local club for local people.
Pretzel-Logic Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 on a lighter note, what's happened to Keith Hill. When he played for us he looked like he could be in Take That, what with his flowing curly locks. Now he could be in Take That pie and eat it.
broadsword Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 My mate's a Baansley fan and says they're due some luck but I'll go for a 1-1 draw. That's just crazy rose-tinted specs blue-sky optimism. Just imagine ... getting a draw at Barnsley! Well ... I guess that's the romance of football
martonrover Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Am going to vent at Singh / Venky's one last time, then no more for me if MacDonald teams up with Singh as expected
blueboy3333 Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 That just reminded me of this T-Shirt we did when we got relegated.http://brfcs.spreadshirt.co.uk/men-s-classic-t-shirt-A20993426 You can relaunch it next year but with Shrewsbury on the front.

roverandout Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 couldnt give a toss if i get slated for this but i hope we get hammered tommorow
cwspellowe Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 couldnt give a toss if i get slated for this but i hope we get hammered tommorow Normally i'd say the same, but part of me is thinking if the team is influenced by Dunn/Murphy, we may see something a bit different and maybe a bunch of players that will play for each other. This may be a player revolution, but out of chaos may come order. These lads may not be influenced by the shadows lurking upstairs and may put out a side that wants to work together and put in a shift. On the other hand, it may end up being a complete shambles with no leadership, no passion, and no performance. Here's hoping for a win, with Givet, Gomes and Dunn back in the team and a glimmer of hope we might pull through this ridiculous charade
Salgado Is A Hero Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 • Rovers are at the foot of the Championship's "form" table, with one point out of 18, and are anxious to avoid four successive defeats last endured at this league level in April 1992.
philipl Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Let's see if Singh gets to foist the line up he was trying and failing to get Berg to play. What is Portuguese for it smells of fish?
philipl Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 So no Dunn or MGP in the squad. If you voice an opinion agsinst clown Singh....
chaddyrovers Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Really hope that Rovers win. would be great for fans and players. Murphy has play well today. needs to up his him. Good luck to Bowyer, Hendry, McPhilliphs today as the current coaching staff in charge
Ossydave Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Hope it ain't raining like this over Barnsley way!
Gav Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Hope it ain't raining like this over Barnsley way! At least you've got a roof these days Dave!
Mike Graham Posted December 29, 2012 Author Posted December 29, 2012 Hope it ain't raining like this over Barnsley way! I am in Leeds with the outlaws and it is Keaning down.
Doug Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Barnsley away was always a trip I used to make. Anyone remember the floodlight failure? Pretty sure it was during the miners strike in the mid eighties. Stood on the open end. Good times back then. Anyway, I hope for a win, but, I dread to think what Shabby will conclude if we do.!!!
Kamy100 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Let's see how many of Rosardo, Henrique, Jorge & Edinho are involved today, then we'll know who's picking the team.
ABBEY Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 dunn n peds not in squad? if true speaks volumes.
Mike Graham Posted December 29, 2012 Author Posted December 29, 2012 Let's see how many of Rosardo, Henrique, Jorge & Edinho are involved today, then we'll know who's picking the team. It will be even more frightening Kamy if they are included and we get a good result....where will that leave us! :-(
Lancs Rover Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Setting off to the match now. Footwell in the car full of water from a leak somewhere, no breakdown cover, two garage visits in the last two months. Chucking down outside. Three excited junior season ticket holders in tow just looking forward to the match. This is football. Rovers to win 5-0. Vukcevic hat-trick.
bypass06 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 @CryerRovers I hope you all know the portuguese national anthem........
Backroom Tom Posted December 29, 2012 Backroom Posted December 29, 2012 Shebby is daft but even he isn't daft enough to put in the Portuguese lads and make it obvious who is picking the team
