When will people learn that putting money on Rovers next manager is akin to throwing your money into a toilet and flushing it away?

Indeed. So many different people all wanting to have their say and the targets change every single day.

Only at Rovers would there be a board level struggle and the winner decides to make a move for Michael @#/? Appleton. One crap manager after another at Rovers, I could pick a better manager out of the candidates than these so called football experts who have years of experience.

Might as well put £10 on Rastamouse or Hugo Chavez. In fact, let's all go to the bookies and put £1 on both, and see if we can make them favourite!

SS is Wenkys choice - although we are told he is seen as a gobby one and a bit of an embarrassment, Stacky Shelves and Shadow Boy have been told to bow to him - the truth? We may never know. The real truth is that between them they are keaning it up. The real truth, they can't tell us. Just rumour/nonsense, smoke and mirrors & more nonsense - if any one of them (the Loons included) had the best interests of our club at heart, they would act in our best interests, stop in fighting and at least one of them make a proper statement of intent, instead of shambolic after shambolic decision. All it continues to prove is we will not move on until the dark lords do - I'm now firmly in the GB camp - as he wants what's best for BRFC!

Why would anyone want Appleton to be honest a win rate of 23%, I hope this is just lazy Journalism down to his PNE links

But he is 'experienced' :P

Bowyer deserves his chance, 3 wins out of 3, good mood in the camp,

players fighting for one another, knows the club inside out.

its a no brainer for this kid.

I agree, why take a risk with appleton (if rumours true) may as well keep the risk with bowyer.

Rovers should pay the money for Poyet if they want a manager then fans mostly would back.

Cant see most fans being unhappy with this choice tbh.

Wouldnt want Appleton as rovers.

Davies and O'Driscoll would be ok as next manager. even would take SGE as next manager.

Unless we can get one of these then just let Bowyer stay in charge till end of the season. Maybe he can get us to the playoffs then who knows??? Doing a good job so far.

Ignoring that as win rate, after all he was at pompey who hardly had a squad. rovers have a squad.

Its easy, an insider knows who the next manager is going to be. Nobody else knows, and its somebody nobody expected. The insider then throws a lot of money on the one he knows will be hired, and makes himself a fortune. I think this happens quite a lot in sport around the world, so who knows, but those odds dropping on Appleton sure seemed strange

Folk mention Poyet. Many brighton fans would like Poyet gone. They do not think he has a plan B.

Yes he has done good at brighton. But at times his football is very fustrating to watch. It can be slow.

Whilst the infighting continues, it will be difficult for any manager coming in to the club.

Poyet would not tolerate singh. He would not want him anywhere near the dressing room for a start.

First player Poyet would go for if he came to rovers, would be Liam Bridcott.

It does indeed (I have always pondered about Redknapps return to Portsmouth from Southampton), but there have been so many names that have raced to odds on from nowhere that I don't think such things have gone on here. I wonder what the odds are from those Indian bookmakers who know so much about the cricket........

I don't know much about Brighton, but is this not more a case of fans behaving like we did under Big Sam? After being spoiled by Hughes for as long as we were, we thought we could be picky about getting results AND playing good football, and it's only when you go through a period like we have you appreciate what you had.

The only glimmer of hope in the last 2years or so has been the last 3 games under Gary Bowyer and I'll bang my drum again by saying that if we can't get a GOOD experienced manager then leave it to Gary Bowyer who knows the players and is obviously getting a response from them, which is a breath of fresh air for Rovers fans.
