What i don't get is that, Everton have four players over 21 in an under 21 side. I thought the main aim of these games is to allow youth to develop. Vellios , Gueye - 22 Mucha - 30 Oviedo - 25 Lundstram and Green are going to be a crackers though!
chaddyrovers Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 U are allow 4 over 21 age players. Rovers could have played Gomes and Peds.

Oklahoma Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Everton won 3-0, normal when you consider the experience of their u21 team. It seems Rovers created a few chances but failed to take advantage of them,.
Ricky Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Anyone out there watch the under 21's. I was impressed with Tim Payne during the Olympics. He seemed to have been converted from a striker to a very good midfielder. Anyone seen him recently? Would like to know if he looks like he'll make it.
Sparky Marky Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Saw him against notlob at leyland. Not from what I saw....bowyer had to check him a few times, not sure he's ready now or in the near future.

Backroom Tom Posted March 4, 2013 Backroom Posted March 4, 2013 No Best may be a sign that he'll feature tomorrow unless his setback last week was bad
G Somerset Rover Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 No Best may be a sign that he'll feature tomorrow unless his setback last week was bad Sure I read somewhere that he's only just resumed training after his latest 'setback'.
Parsonblue Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 We were 2-0 up and lost 3-2. We were well in control and then managed to make a couple basic errors in the final ten minutes or so to present Everton with a win they didn't deserve. Fabio Nunes and John O'Sullivan had better games tonight but Forrester was fairly quiet against his old club.
