rickard Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Yeah, good luck to Ryan! I hope he does well, and maybe one day he'll come back as manager for us. Legend!
Adam C Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Best of luck, how great would it be to have kept a hold of him under Kean and now be watching him take his first steps as caretaker manager?
mode_m Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I'm interested to see what style of play he will be bring to the club.
dwayne cage Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Hope the guy does well. Nightmare scenario for QPR though. Maybe they'll come in for Givet or Dann?
LeChuck Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Hope the guy does well. Nightmare scenario for QPR though.Maybe they'll come in for Givet or Dann? Harry's got a good eye for a player, so aboslutely no chance.
onlyonejackwalker Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Best of luck to one of my all time favourite Rovers player. Classy guy, great servant, great ambassador for his country, our club and the game in general. Happy he left our mad-house when he did as he is far to classy to be in anyway involved with the plankton and general low life we have running the show.
rog of the rovers Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 All the best to him. Will certainly have to start looking out for their results once the new season starts. As mentioned above, I hope to see him back over on these shores in the future. A great ambassador for football worldwide, the sort of player/person every footballer should be.
MrT Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Good luck Admiral, Hughes signed both Samba and Nelsen for only 450k, bargain!
Gally Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 For me, Nelsen sums up exactly what a Blackburn Rovers player should be. Not untalented, but with an attitude and lack of ego which made him competitive with the best. Really hope he does well.
Backroom DE. Posted January 8, 2013 Backroom Posted January 8, 2013 One of very few footballers who can truly call themselves a professional. All the best to him.
arbitro Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Good luck Ryan. A proper man and terrific competitor. What he lacked in skill he more than made up with honest endeavour and commitment. Hopefully he will be a success and return to Ewood for some unfinished business.
Bundesburn Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Will definitely be following his progress in MLS. Delighted for him.
BiggusLaddus Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Good luck to him. Which MLS side did we sign him from?
Blue Cabbage Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Good luck to him.Which MLS side did we sign him from? DC United
Rover_Shaun Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Nelsen is still playing for QPR?..........but...but Steve Kean made it out like he virtually snapped his back in 23 places!!!! Are you telling me Steve Kean lied??
Backroom DE. Posted January 8, 2013 Backroom Posted January 8, 2013 Don't say that, you'll get the topic deleted.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 A class act both on and off the pitch. All the best Ryan.
Exiled in Toronto Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 He's going to need all the luck he can get
tkturner Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Best of luck to him, was gutted when he left, and the circumstances in which he did so were terrible. Was grim seeing him bossing it for someone else..
donnermeat Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I'm torn because I follow Seattle Sounders, but I have to support Toronto now. I just have to.
davulsukur Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Are they any good donnermeat? What sort of team is Nelly taking over?
Darmond Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Nelsen talks in the Bbc article about glass knees & ankles, sounding like he would have finished playing already if he wasn't singlehandedly saving qpr at the minute, something i guess we would have known when selling him.
