[Archived] Looks like there will be an NHL hockey season, 48 games.

A 48 game season to start on January 19th, 2013, I'm saying it.

But I don't know if I will care. It sure is a downer the way it took them so long to get it together.

When does the season usually start?? Looks like for example, Anaheim Ducks started playing October 6th last year, so we miss? Over 3 months of ice hockey. It's a great sport but upsets me that it's taken them so long. Don't know if I will watch it. Vote with your feet.

Think it normally starts in Oct for pre season then end of Oct/start of Nov for actual season beginning. Will try and catch a few games on tv but as I'm in Aus now and not Canada won't be going to any games.
