Yes just read that! Such a lovely bloke that Orr. Either Appy hasn't bothered to check what fans think of him or he has--- in which case he is taking the kean.

Furthermore, it doesn't give me any feeling of confidence about his managerial capacity because Orr was rubbish for us.

I accept he was rubbish under a rubbish manager so he may well turn out better but, given his comments about us, in support of Kean, I can't say it'll give me much pleasure.

Calm down dear!

I think with Henley out getting Orr back is not such a bad shout. I am sure Appleton is aware of Orr's history with the fans so he is just trying to placate us somewhat . .

Exactly. Frankly, anyone who would prefer Todd Kane at right back over Bradley Orr needs their heads seeing to.

I know Orr was terrible under Kean...but then, the mitigating circumstance is in that sentence already; "under Kean".

It's funny how people chastise Shebby for interfering with team selections but then want to stick their Orr ore in when they don't agree with something. Let Appleton get on with, he seems to be doing a good job so far. If, in a few games time, we've gone on a bad run and Orr has been @#/? then maybe complain. No need at the moment though.

It is uncanny though, lol.

I would like to propose renaming 'he who cannot benamed' to 'wormtongue' as I feel it's more apt?

How about the truth, like @#/? cheating lying @#/? who would sell his granny

From QPR website.

DJ Campbell has joined npower Championship side Blackburn Rovers on a 93-day emergency loan deal.
Campbell, 31, has linked up with Rovers ahead of their home match against Ipswich Town this weekend.
The striker's deal - which officially starts tomorrow (Saturday) - will run until May 12th and QPR have a recall clause should it be needed, which can be activated after the first 28 days of the loan.

I thought Orr was much better than Kane has looked last week, then again I never thought he was all that bad last season compared to the rest of them

People just think he was worse due to his ridiculous comments after the Wigan game

Wouldn't be sad never to see him play for the club again but he's a steady enough right back

He is too top heavy, especially around the mouth

My view of him as a full back last season was that he put in a number of good crosses, but was very poor defensively.

Swear filter? @#/?

Ha! If you quote a swear-filtered message, you see the unfiltered version in your quote.

Just testing: does the swear filter pick up fragments of words, i.e. can I write Scunthorpe without it changing into Skeanhorpe?

edit: swear filter is not that sophisticated :(

Message to Appleton ...

Check rovers recent history. Orr is a turd who slagged fans off and is probably the most hated player in our history. I don't care if he scores the promotion winning goal . He is a kean loving nasty piece of poison.

Exactly as I feel. The fans just love their villains and can't see any positives at all in certain players.

Though Kane looks as though he will become a better player than Orr in the end. Just needs the game time. First game he played he looked very good for his age. Second game he looked a little naive at times and made the odd mistake, but this will happen.

Appleton has already bigged Orr up once already. Not sure why he's felt the need to do it again, when he must be aware of the situation between him and the fans. Nevertheless, I do agree that he could do a job for us at this level.

I would think all managers check what the fans think before picking a player. Perhaps Appleton should get BRAG to survey their members before deciding to pick him?

That would guarantee promotion! And they could give him appraisals too.

Actually, why can't BRAG run our club? They are such a professional and knowledgeable outfit.

Henley could do with a more rotational role at his age and current ability. He has looked good at times and at other times (like Kane) has looked naive. People expect far too much from the youngsters these days.

I guess he gives us cover at left back as well, possibly freeing up Martin to move into midfield at times if needed.
