T.J.Newton Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Interesting that everyone blamed Shaw for this but it looks like it was Nowt to do with him. question who this breaking information is coming from(somebody that knows they dropped a big un this morning with there massive over-reaction and is now tyring to backpeddle) It makes zero diferance who identified the manager, all that matters is that he does well and gets the full backing and support of everybody at the club from day one.

BuckyRover Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I literally have no idea who to trust. Brilliant obfuscation (if intentional).
savage90 Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Who's going to pose with Appleton when he holds up the shirt? Will the Rao brothers skype in?
dwayne cage Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 All I wanted was a manager with hair Post of the day
EgyptianPete Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I can dispute that point as he is also the PR 'Guru' at the company I work for I know all to well that we've had contact in the last few days I am only passing info on from twitter accounts, may all be BS but this is Venky's remember
Mercer Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Now this is just brilliant if true, no one upmanship with the three amigosTweet from GM if this could not get any stranger its now emerging that Shaw, Agnew and Singh had no call in Appleton this has been direct with India Appleton was interviewed by Video call to India, days AGO!!!, Which puts todays mess well n trully up in the air So Shaw been getting shot from many quarters today, including from me, but this really does look like he is just the paperwork guy Agnew is also not involved, he is currently on Holiday Source of info IS India and also from within the Blackpool camp from those asking Hold on, Mullan dismissed the Appleton stuff yesterday, words to the effect that nothing in it at all. I think he just likes us all to think he has his finger on the pulse when in reality he is all over the place.
Clitherover Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Really is one extreme to the next with these feckwits. It would be hilarious if it was happening to anyone else's club, just sod's law that it happens to be ours. I wonder what their next batsh1t crazy move will be?
EgyptianPete Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Who's going to pose with Appleton when he holds up the shirt? Will the Rao brothers skype in? Ha, maybe cardboard cut outs, anyhow good luck to him
savage90 Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 On the plus side. Tactically we must be a nightmare for other teams.
perthblue02 Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Could the loons in pune interview Appleton without approaching Blackpool? If not looks like there's a lot of lies on both sides
EgyptianPete Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Could the loons in pune interview Appleton without approaching Blackpool? If not looks like there's a lot of lies on both sides Well no change there then
cwspellowe Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Could the loons in pune interview Appleton without approaching Blackpool? If not looks like there's a lot of lies on both sides True story. If they interviewed him days ago, why was the breaking news only today that Blackpool have given permission to speak to him? Saying that, MG did say a couple of days ago a deal was done on the strength of a handshake. Maybe he WAS approached illegally and Oyston has only just found out?
Proudtobeblue&white Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 How the feck would the Loons have latched onto Appleton without a word from someone - it's like asking me to come up with my favourite Bollywood star!
Elegia Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 how would owners know about Appleton. probably another rumour Appleton's agent according to this article works for this company who happen to have an office in India. hold on.... Appleton was interviewed by video call to India days ago, coincidentally a couple of days ago he shot from nowhere in the betting to clear favourite 1-12 at one point.
gumboots Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 What is Appleton's wife/significant other like? Could have connected with Mrs d on a shopping trip and therefore MA just has to be appointed
sharpysharps Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Kamy just tweeted that Appleton is with Kentaro these days. Not sure if true or not. If it is then there is your link back to India.
Backroom Tom Posted January 10, 2013 Author Backroom Posted January 10, 2013 The kentaro link is a worry but not wholly surprising
pk1875 Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Northern Rover @Northern_Rover Sorry guys two people I trust implicitly are saying Appleton agent now Kentaro, changed last week, so now unsure of it all.
BuckyRover Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 They owe us a good manager this time surely?
G Somerset Rover Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 What a shocker! JA is still on the scene eh? Probably thought letting his son go would divert all attention...
patrickvalery Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Kamy saying Appleton is now part of Kentaro.... Bloody hell! I wish i hadn't binned my Myles Anderson shirt now!
LDRover Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Looks like the Fat Controller is, well, still controlling. It's as corrupt as it is tragic. I give us 3 years. Tops.
perthblue02 Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Well at least with them involved we wont get into trouble for an illegal approach, that carpet at the FA offices must be bulging with all the stuff swept under
Proudtobeblue&white Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Anything going back to the conspiracy is worrying - if true, must be investigated - I'm back with going to play with the lower leagues than continue with this.
