TBH thinking this was an ok appointment - not great but not a disaster by any means.

However IF he is with kentaro then I would be very worried. If this is the case then I think there's a lot more vested interest and meddling than we suspected (which is a lot.) Expect the circus to continue at a rate of knots.

The big question now is that if Appleton is directly linked with JA/Kentaro (and I do stress the if at this point) and they're the driving force behind his arrival at Ewood... does he still get full backing?

Honestly don't know what to think if this is true.

If this is true about anderson then a statement by BRAG would be justified as it would be in the interests of every Rovers' fan, and also the wider public. If it is true, then circumstantial evidence of third party control of a football club would be hard for the authorities to ignore. When the evidence involves a manager moving agents a week before taking over a new club, the agent is Anderson and the club is Rovers, it would be especially hard to ignore.

Everyone at Ewood was in Dark on Tuesday, no-one knew a thing.

When betting came in I asked the question and everyone said no truth

But you was talking "direct to India" in the last couple of days ... who was that then - Orange customer service?

What happened to telling Agnew that he might as well cc you in emails?

The message I get from "people at Ewood" is that you are a hated, damaging liar and BRAG is totally poisonous. Perhaps you should qualify "everyone at Ewood" and say "my sources at Ewood".

Think you have hit the nail on the head !

If correct, unbelievable and sad.

If he gets the job then yes I feel he should be backed until he proves he isn't good enough

It will be awful to have them back on board (if thy ever left) but he may still be a good manager

pathetic appointment.......15 wins in his managerial career, only 37 when we are crying out for experience....................can anyone else smell a yes man.

Just when i thought i could'nt get less motivated about rovers those loons just get madder. F'off the lot of them

many forget that the fundamental problem with kean was that he was just a god awful manager, if he'd have been even halve descent nobody would really have batted an eyelid about agents, ect..., all managers and clubs have prefered agents that they deal with to find and sign players and staff, thats just sadly how football is.(not that i believe or trust a word of what gm is now all of a sudden saying)

I find it strange that JA would push another client towards Rovers after the way Kean worked out and the garbage he came out with about the fans. Not too mention Milo's complete failure and alleged abuse from fans.

Not sure why he would land his client in a totally unstable environment where he knows if he fails the fans will crucify him and damage his career tenfold.

Money I guess.

Unfortunately, if they are back on board, I think it will make Appleton's job doubly difficult to win over the doubters.

Not only that, I genuinely think that the atmosphere around the club will regress still further.

This is what I fear - we're going to end up with animosity not felt since Kean was in charge. I don't know if the fans or the club can recover from another dip into those waters.

Ok this is very complicated and I have spent most the evening chasing up Appleton's agent history.

He has changed agents ALOT.

First he was with company called Stellar. He then moved to Kentaro, after a while he dumped Kentaro and moved to WMG. When he got the Blackpool job he didn't have any agent representing him and did the deal himself.

Now last week he appointed new agents, two people that I trust telling me that his agents are now Kentaro, which IF true is worrying for obvious reasons.

Will update if I get more info on this.

so you dont have any facts or proof of this other than 2 anonymous(to us) sources, now i like you and your posts but with all respect a lot of the info you put out is pretty inconsistent(reliability wise).

Let's give the poor guy the chance to fail before we are all over him. He's used to working with pillocks in testing circumstances so he's as wise a choice as any - he also looks like the kind of guy who can @#/? a few shirkers up and that's what has been needed. Kentaro are a massive agency so sooner or later you are going to get someone who is represented by them (if he even does).

Incredible. Have I dreamt the last 2 years or is there something somewhere sucking people's memories into a big black hole and replacing them with sunny rainbows and candy floss mountains? If this was evolution then the section of our support completely incapable of learning from being conned again, and again, and again, and again would have been killed off by now. We are being taken for our 15th ride around the scheming, scummy, low-down, circus of crooks and thieves, and you're telling us to give it a chance.

Even if it is Kentaro we need to confirm the name of the agent. Kentaro as a company have lots of companies, they have bought out many agent companies, these satellite companies run pretty independent even though they are owned by Kentaro.

However, due to the history with Kentaro/SEM any link is bound to lead to fans being nervous.

Why not simply ask him at tomorrow's presser !

Simply, can you confirm who your present agent is. That is nort really a confidential issue.

We will see how honest he is !
