When does Bowyer get another chance?

Nine more games

Sounded to me like normal service resumed. Same team, same lack of subs in time same reluctance to change it up. Glad we dumped a winner for a loser, well done Venky's you are top of the moron class again. Here's a pointy hat with a D on it for all of you.

All I'm waiting for now is the infamous "we'll take the positives" speech

Sounds about right. I don't want to be too harsh on the guy as it's his first game, but when you've seen the same drouse week after week all season with two other managers, then it's hard not to think too negatively about the result. It just the performances that worry me. Ok if we had lost, after every player put a shift in, the manager had tried things and it just wasn't our day, you'd find some solace. But yet again we've had another shocker of a performance. The players need to look at themselves (not that they care), but the chaos behind the scenes has without doubt affected performances on the pitch.

This side, although it is unbalanced, should be far higher in the league. For me the squad has enough talent in pockets if not throughout. But there is a real problem with attitude. I don't know who is behind it but something stinks within the Rovers ranks.

Look no further than Murphy and Richards

"They're a big fish in a smaller pond to what they were in last year in terms of the Premier League.

"There's added pressure that goes with that and they're going to have to cope with it because we have three home games coming up in quick succession and it's going to be a challenge for everyone.

I find these comments really strange.

The majority of our players aren't premier league quality, and teams that come to Ewood no longer see us as a threat - of that I'm sure. We're not big fish in a small pond at all. In fact, with our current squad we're just about at our level. How many of the first 11 would realistically get into a premier league team?

Three home games being a 'challenge'? I remember when having a home match was a good thing and we expected to win those games. Now they're a challenge. Oh how times have changed.

"I'm sure the supporters just want to see a committed performance from the players. I think they huffed and puffed but I'm not sure how committed they were once we conceded the second goal, which was a disappointment.

"There's no time to shirk your responsibilities. We're professional people, whether you're manager, coach or a player. You've got to take the responsibility that goes with it."

Can't disagree with that though.

At least Appleton mentioned the terrible attitude of the players post match because he needs to do something about that and quick.

The way they played you'd have thought that they think hes a w@nker, not that that is true though, but it wasn't good today.

It was terrible. On today"s performance there is no one in that team who is anywhere near Prem standard which is worrying considering that we have no money. If we played like that regularly we would end up near the bottom this season. But hey, he might sort it out and go on to be a new Mourinho.

Listened to the press conference earlier in the week.

Always find it worrying when a manager (or should say coach) drops in names of everyone they have worked with - trying to justify they are a manager smacks a bit desperate. But then again, many people have questioned why or how he has ended up as our manager therefore he naturally probably feels quite defensive.

Anyone not pulling their weight needs to be shipped out before the end of the transfer window.

And if transfer replacements can't be found, I'd rather have a less talented youngster who will give it everything to a half-arsed overpaid prima donna walking around the pitch and doing nothing.

Im tired and fed up with these overpaid primadonnas. Time to ship some players out.

Formica, Dunn, Robinson, Givet can't even get in to a Championship team.

CKR, Etuhu and Murphy was Kean signings and can Kean off.

Get Bentley, Dawson and Dorrans in and play:

Kean

Kane, Hanley, Dann, Dawson

Bentley, Dorrans, Lowe, King

Rhodes, other of the strikers.

I know this team would get crosses in and win games.

Appleton didn't have any positives, instead blamed players for lacking commitment and poor attitude. I hope its dealed with soon. I want us to get rid of CKR and Murphy as these players seems to inflict problems to the side.

I know players like Pedersen would do their better than Murphy in a Rovers midfeld. Also Vukcevic

would be more effective in the middle than Murphy. CKR can't play wide, not Rochina. Rochina should be a striker not a midfelder, he can do some magic near the goal and score, not in midfeld and then loose a ball.

I really hope Appleton saw what we others have seen for a long time. I would ship back CKR now to TURKEY!

Also, Vukcevic is a centre midfelder, not a right winger.
