Hughesy Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 No - we need a tough tackling box to box mid, someone in a similar style to JJ
Backroom DE. Posted January 12, 2013 Backroom Posted January 12, 2013 Reo-Coker is slower than Benni McCarthy and has the mobility of an oil tanker. Trust me, I've seen him play very recently. The last thing our midfield needs is another slow, unfit clogger.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 He's probably worse at passing than Lowe as well.
Sparky Marky Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 He is also a bad influence in the dressing room apparently.
LDRover Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 He's probably worse at passing than Lowe as well. Is that actually possible?
T.J.Newton Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 The player Reo Corker was in his early west ham days is very much the kind of player we could do with, I haven't seen him play for a good while, but I'm guessing he cant be anywhere near the player he was or there would be many good clubs after him and he does have a rep for being a greedy trouble maker.
Gav Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 3 seasons to late in my book. Not what we require now.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Yeah, the guy's a liability now. Watch us go and sign him though !
EWOODACE1 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Is that actually possible? have you seen etuhu's passing
Stuart Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Interesting that the fanbase are underwhelmed with the new manager and we start to be linked with ex-PL "names" already. Is this a sign of things to come from our new PR company?

No think it's more to do with the loons cheque book possibly being opened and the sharks smell blood
Stuart Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 No think it's more to do with the loons cheque book possibly being opened and the sharks smell blood We'll see. Talk is cheap.
bluefred Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 how about joey barton aswell, could be just the ticket
Backroom Mike E Posted January 13, 2013 Backroom Posted January 13, 2013 Despite being an utter cock, we could do with Barton's aggression.
bluefred Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Despite being an utter cock, we could do with Barton's aggression. agreed 100%
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 agreed 100% Me too, let me see - Reo Coker or Barton ? Give me a nano second to decide.
Ricky Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Lets get real for a minute. We may have a chance with Reo-Coker, no chance at all with Barton. Still think there are better options out there.
patrickvalery Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Unless he's realised he's not a top level PL player who the world has it in for, i wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. Bentley on the other hand....
Pedro Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Unless he's realised he's not a top level PL player who the world has it in for, i wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.Bentley on the other hand.... I'd also have Bentley back any day. Etuhu looked good for the first half dozen games, then he started cacking his sides every time the ball came near him. I hope time away and a new manager can get him going again. We definitely need an animal in centre midfield, it'll have to be a loanee though I think.
