I'd take him because he's head and shoulders above anyone in our midfield though!

We have other priorities than Bentley though - unless we can convert him to a central midfielder like Beckham always wanted to be.

I've not seen him play for ages, going off other people's opinion's he a busted flush. If that's so we could have Bentlley, Murphy, Etuhu and Pedersen in midfield. That'd be a great hand, four of a kind !

Bentley just needs his ego stroking. If he thinks he's top boy he'll do just fine. He's had the confidence kicked right out of him. A good manager with no better options would get a tune out of him imo.

Bentley has the ability, im sure he could find some sort of form and be the man to supply Rhodes!

His deliveries were awesome for RSC, he doesnt need pace, you never lose your technical ability.

Players do lose confidence and drive though, not sure Bentley still has either.

Its simply his fitness that is the real issue, we need players that are going to be fit every week so the starting 11 can get some momentum and consistency, we have had way to many sick notes in recent years.
