Guest Norbert Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I'd prefer him to be Burnley manager personally. I hope whichever club he manages next has the same fate as Rovers, thus proving that he really is a fool.

AspRover Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Yeah I have horrible visions of a tv program in ten years on legendary football managers mocking Rovers fans for hounding out the three times champions league winning coach who guided Scotland to win a world cup or something. I mean, its not going to happen; the guys incompetent, not fit to run my local fried chicken shop (though being served by the new Gordon Ramsey would be entertaining), but I'd still almost prefer that he vanished without trace. Mind you sinking one of our promotion rivals would be good.
Gav Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Oystons a bright guy, he'll go nowhere near that lying rat. But if he did, it could be fun when Bpool visit town, wonder if Agnew will be strip searching supporters and making the home fans lives a misery again.

Oystons a bright guy - That's your first mistake. He'll go nowhere near that lying rat - That's your second mistake. Presumably, his involvement as Blackpool manager (if he gets the gig) will only be the footballing side of things. This will work in his favour and I am dreading the thought that this cretin will do well IF he does get the job.
arbitro Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Go on Jerome - get him the gig. Then he can take Dunn, Roberts, Agnew and all the other apologists with him. Perhaps he can persuade Venky's to get involved too.
Cocker Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I can see it now "I discovered Tom Ince you know"

Ozz Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 He was employed by Rovers pre Venkys in a coaching role so he must have some level of competence and ability to do a job in the top flight of English football.
rickard Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 He was employed by Rovers pre Venkys in a coaching role so he must have some level of competence and ability to do a job in the top flight of English football. Yes, probably the ability to lie convincingly on a job application...
Ozz Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Can't beleive I actually typed that sentence. Apolgies to all.
yoda Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Can't beleive I actually typed that sentence. Apolgies to all. in your defence all that happened before he went on the lash and had a free hand given him

onlyonejackwalker Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Aye, those cones don't put themselves out And the bibs don't magically end up on the training ground either. Our lads gave wur all, that northwesterly sea breeze worked against us, Peterboro are a decent outfit after all... but having invented rock production and been here many times for my summer holidays I genuinely feel very happy to be here. Wish I had a dog I could walk on the beach. Pleasingly the donkey's know what we are trying to do here and 99% of them are fully behind me.
ABBEY Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I can see it now "I discovered Tom Ince you know" Classic lol

Bpool have to work within a tight budget, and that fact alone will probably rule the next Bill Shankly out. As for Oyston, you only have to look at whats been achieved under his tenure to realise he knows what he’s doing, but we’ll see.

I did and I am very confident he will fail at Blackpool miserably just as he did at Ewood. However, if media reports are to be believed then he was heavily involved in the boardroom side of things, this may have hindered him. It's more of a worry than opinion to be honest.
Lhrover Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 When you say Blackpool, did you mean on the pier's or the beach donkeys?
Andy Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 This is hilarious...the thought of Kean working again. I wanted it to be the Dingles so much. If he goes to Blackpool, they'll be a League 2 club within 3 years.
Wolves_Rover Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I guess K***'s first interview question will be "so tell me, whats the dew levels like over here?"I'm guessing Adkins will be approached and sadly K*** won't be appointed. What a Shame
Clitherover Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I guess K***'s first interview question will be "so tell me, whats the dew levels like over here?" I'm guessing Adkins will be approached and sadly K*** won't be appointed. What a Shame I doubt Adkins would want the Blackpool job. If he goes to Blackpool, they'll be a League 2 club within 3 years. I think they will anyway, as soon as they lose their prized asset with an owner that takes and never gives there's only one way a small club like that will go.
Mercer Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I don't think there is any chance of Oyston going anywhere near Kean - does anyone seriously think that Kean could be a credible candidate after the shenanigans here ? Oyston might want Adkins but don't think Adkins would touch with a barge pole. Adkins' stock is sky high with two successive prpmotions and what looked like a 'consolidation' in the PL. He will wait for the right opportunity which could be Aston Villa (presently 50/1) - watch this space !!! Saints must be bonkers and I can see them, deservedly, getting relegated now.
davulsukur Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I am not sure the fans deserve to see their club relegated mercerman. I have plenty of sympathy for them after what we have seen at Rovers under Venkys.
