SydneyRover Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 If he gets the Dundee job my favourite Scottish team will be whoever is playing Dundee that week.

A cup of beans Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Sadly the blackpool fans didn't sing kean out. They chanted and continue to chant seaside, which sounds strangely similar.
tomphil Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Anyone who reads the Dundee Utd Football Mad Msg board will see that most of them are over the moon he's being considered and all his failings at Ewood was down to the fans. One or two are talking sense and telling it like it is but the majority seem to hold him as some sort of cult hero the deluded dicks ! Strangely enough i think he may do alright up there initially in that tinpot league. I say initially because it wouldn't be long before he reverted to type and started making a balls of it and talking his usual crap. There would be a high turnover of players that's for sure !
RoyRover Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Maybe he will buy back fan favourite David Goodwillie? The two of them got on like a house on fire down here!
Clitherover Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Didnt the Blackpool fans support us and sing KEAN OUT during their playoff last season? For that I consider them friends and think they'be earned my support in not appointing the keaner Have a look on the Blackpool forums, most on there refer to us as @#/? rovers as do most teams in Lancashire. We've no mates in our home county probably down to our superiority in the past. Sent from my ST25i using Tapatalk 2
OJRovers Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 When does his driving ban end? Unlikely they will pay for a full time ninja/driver for him. That's a big taxi fare back to Surrey from Dundee!
riverside returns Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Could the reason that Andy Gray was almost begging Derek McInnes to apply for the Dundee job be because they fear SK might be in with a chance?

Fife Rover Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 If he gets the Dundee job my favourite Scottish team will be whoever is playing Dundee that week. Oh dear....here we go again. My son's favourite team is whoever id playing Dundee, and that is because he is a DUNDEE UTD FAN!!!!
McClarky Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Ha ha, Jackie McNamara got the Arabs job. Decent bloke as well by all accounts.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Good news, he was doing a good job with Partick Thistle and I liked him a lot as a player. League 2 or the Scottish 1st division is where I'd try next if I was Kean. Then after being rejected from there as well, further and further down the ladder.
Aberdeen Blue Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 I'll keep an eye on the Cove Rangers situation for him.......
Stuart Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Glad he's not got it. I was listening to talk sport on Saturday and they said "on the line now we have Steve Kean" and my heart sank. The thought of having to listen to the bloke, let alone see him made me sick, angry and a little shocked. It turned out it was Steve King, Macclesfield manager and my hearing was off, but it confirmed to me that I don't want him at another club no matter how many of their ignorant/deluded fans slag us off. Not that they wouldn't deserve it, a little, but the thought of him giving another 'damn good presser' isn't something I could stomach.
BuckyRover Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 I'm not having that. I would love to see him at a new club and I would revel in every defeat.
Baz Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 I'm not having that. I would love to see him at a new club and I would revel in every defeat. I wouldn't wish him on my worst enemy. I'd just like chairmen of clubs he's linked to, to make some dismissive denial comments.
Andy Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 The problem is, there's always somebody with a lazy recruitment policy and eventually somebody will take him. And they'll regret it immediately.
