Aberdeen Blue Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 That's a photoshopped version of this. By george, I think you are on to something Holmes! Good spot fella
T.J.Newton Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Still think that's fake the line down the middle is too perfectly straight to be real Good spot
J*B Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 That's two years in a row I've convinced twitter that I'd seen the new kit. Green and white hoops last year, reversed halves this year. I'd have gotten away with it without Gumbi's meddling.
pick32 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 using gaussian blur to cover up bad photoshop skills you should be ashamed sir.
Stuart Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 That's a photoshopped version of this. You are too frickin good at this. Are you the hoaxer AND slayer?
Torgeir Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Why the @#/? are people photoshopping @#/? mock-ups and distributing them around for anyway? @#/? that. @#/? @#/?.
laughatthedingles Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Saw a glimpse of the new home kit today, presume it will form part of a 'teaser' campaign. It looked remarkably similar to the gala one this coming season although I couldn't quite see the collar. The nike tick was in dark navy blue and the halves appear to be on different sides on the reverse (I.e. a quartered kit as it should be). Been told the away will be red with white trim, sounds like its modelled on Everton's home kit from the season that's just finished.
chaddyrovers Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 This is from someone twitter account Away kit is supposedly a red version of this... #rovers #brfc pic.twitter.com/aX1Dqtay2l Seen a glimpse of new #rovers kit today. Looks remarkably like gala's although couldn't see collar in full #brfc pic.twitter.com/r966zJSZIq
Guest Norbert Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 I'd be happy with those. Not sure many of us would look that good in that sort of figure hugging design though.
Amo Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Anyone fancy mocking them up for us? Drogba not included.
Backroom Madon Posted May 25, 2013 Backroom Posted May 25, 2013 That is one hell of a smart kit though! Would love that, tbf most of these nike designs so far have looked good, just wish they'd get a move on!
dingles staying down 4ever Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Someone has posted this one on my facebook. Don't know how reliable.
dingles staying down 4ever Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Exactly! Why would Nike develop a fresh kit for a lower championship team when they already have it in their bog standard range? Time to face facts.
Rishton blue Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 What facts are those? Guaranteed that will not be next seasons kit. The only facts that need facing are people support Blackburn Rovers F.C. and need to stop being negative about EVERYTHING that happens.
pick32 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Exactly! Why would Nike develop a fresh kit for a lower championship team when they already have it in their bog standard range? Time to face facts. Or maybe they didn't become a massive global brand by doing things half assed that will reflect badly on the company and could cost them lower league teams sponsorship in the future. Just a rational thought.
chris_h Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 They did a good job of Stanley's kit a few seasons back.
cn174 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Or maybe they didn't become a massive global brand by doing things half assed that will reflect badly on the company and could cost them lower league teams sponsorship in the future. Just a rational thought. So if they dont make the rovers kit decent, it is going to damage them as a global brand. Err doubt it. Look at Man Us kit this year, was shocking, but everyone still bought it. They'll be spending no time at all deciding which bog standard kit to give us because our contract is worth about 50p to them in comparison to other teams.
