Same as it was since before Agnew got promoted (in fact, since Beamo retired). Greg Coar (one of the good guys).

My guess (and I must stress it is a guess) is it's being held back be as no sponsor had been announced yes (so we have to assume the deal isn't finalised) and the sponsorship deal is worth a lot more if they know their logo is going to be on 100% of all replica shirts.

The club were still saying this week on twitter yesterday. They will have to show it by the end of next week at the latest as we have our first pre season match on the 6th.

They did. Rovers XI game against a non-league if I remember correctly?! Maybe Stalybridge?

They certainly hadnt officially revealed the away kit before they wore it at Morecambe

Nice little double header game that wish they would do it again

It was a youth game at Kendal (well, somewhere similar, south lakes, I'm sure ParsonBlue will know). We had the first pics of it as somebody there texted me (bad) pics of it about 5 mins into the game.

Here's another new training top, from Edinho Junior's Instagram account.

Isn't that lad on the right a bit old for braces? Shine a light!

not too bad that Everton kit, however, why does these companies work off one stupid template? why cant a club say, listen, this is the design i want, now go out and make it? We had a few years back, where we could vote for the kit we wanted off 3 different style sheets. That was awesome, i think it might have been during the Lonsdale days, but i speak under correction

LT reporting that the club hope to unveil a shirt sponsor and that the kit launch is next week. Wonder who the sponsor is? Kudos to Greg Coar if one is sorted, must be like platting sawdust trying to attract a company to shack up with Rovers at the moment.

It's a good point, but unfortunately, apparel manufacturing doesn't work like that. For a big client (the Man Us and Barcelonas of this world) manufacturers will do pretty much anything. Companies like Nike ship out huge quantities, so standardising everything as much as possible does a lot for efficiency. You only provide a more bespoke service for your more important clients.

Lonsdale don't have as much (if, indeed, any) presence. If we were one of their first forays into football kits, they'd have been very flexible.

Nike could probably take or leave being our kit supplier and almost certainly entertained the bare minimum of feedback from us. Not a slight on Nike or their designs. I should think they'll do a good job, if the Everton kit is anything to go by. Just the way the apparel game works!

Was there ever an official reason why we changed to blue and white halves (front and back) rather than quarters?

Anyone think it was a mistake that the club didn't notice until it was too late??

Not sure but it was our best looking kit in years IMO
