A lot of the Umbro clubs have switched to Nike so I'd expect Rovers to follow suit.

I think that Umbro have been a solid sponsor.

Best Kit of Umbro era (IMO)

A really classy shirt, nice little collar, also blue and white cuffs were a nice touch, a real classy design.

Worst Kit of Umbro era (IMO)

Why buy this shirt? Basically just a navy t-shirt with a Rovers badge on, no design involved.

As long as we don't make a return to the black box sponsor (i.e crown paints era), ruined a nice shirt, and we looked like crown paints FC.....

Such a shame that the white polo-style collar didn't coincide with the no sponsor era.

That would have been an instant classic.

I liked the style of the Bet24 shirt which is an unpopular opinion.

Far and away our best away shirt in recent years, though, is this...

...and it never went on sale! Terrible decision - made by Umbro apparently.

The only shirt the black Crown logo looked good on.

I actually like this navy shirt. Simple and goes with about everything.

Enough to stump up $60 for the pleasure, SM?

The red and white halves were one of the best, along with our Kappa Kits. The Orange and silver kit were awful I think made by Uhlsport? Or was that the yellow and blue we had?

We should incorporate the red more often. Sexy stuff.

I think you mean the red & black halves, btw. We've never had red & white halves, afaik.

Yellow & blue one was Uhlsport:

The orange & silver was Asics:

Yep, I keep hoping for a repeat of the halved away shirt. It wouldn't happen every year I know but would settle for it happening every 2 to 3!

I look forward to seeing the new designs when they are released :)

I bet one is blue and white halves Ben ;)

You have certainly more faith in the loons from Pune and the PNE Twins than I have. Would not surprise me one bit to see the on paper owners pull a similar stunt to Cardiff's owners or Pne and mini pne promote the third kit to first and add a little lamb to the badge

Can anyone knock up the current home kit with Pro-biz & Nike

And then perhaps the red & black halves with the new sponsor names (IF of course they are correct).

Would love us to adopt the halved kit for away shirts every season, EVEN if we change the colours on the away ones each year.

I couldn't disagree with you more. This year's home kit is atrocious and the home kit you posted isn't much better. The navy blue one is a very nice kit, nice details on the red internal trim on the sleeves. Less is more, always has been.

Last year's home kit, though, was probably one of the best kits Rovers have ever had. Took just enough from the ICI Perspex kits, whilst still looking very contemporary. It was genuinely perfect.

But the home shirt was not quartered therefore not traditional

As expected

The kits next season for Nike seem to have wide bands around the sleeves

I think the blue and white halves with a thick red band around the sleeve could look really nice

Also I seem to remember Fulham having a nice red and black halved Nike away shirt recently didn't they?

I don't think anyone has set this up as such, Umbro were a company of Nike anyway i think?

Sure Umbro have been sold on and Nike are taking up the supply of technical gear for football teams previously working with Umbro.

England kits also following this trend...

Yea Umbro are making no football kits from the end of this season on, and all them that were Umbro are going straight to Nike. They've already had a couple of previews of City shirts on their site.
