Aberdeen Blue Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Just heard we have DJ Campbell at Brockhall. OK it was TalkShyte but anything in it?
danger19_80 Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Odemwingie just arrived at QPR...for whatever it's worth.
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 He was unsettled in the first place because of actions carried out by Rovers. Rovers tried to bring in Friedel as a player/coach to replace both Robbo and Mimms (I wonder who came up with that idea in the first place, Spurs fan with a mustache by any chance?). But the difference Kean has made surely shows that Rovers were correct to try to bring Friedel in ?
Lurid Coat Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Odemwingie deal apparently back on, he's at Loftus Road now
Blackburn Ravers Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Blackburn Rovers can announce that the contract of attacking midfielder Simon Vukcevic has been terminated by mutual agreement with immediate effect. The 27-year-old Montenegrin international arrived at Ewood Park from Sporting Lisbon in August 2011 and made 21 appearances in a Rovers shirt http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/vukcevic-departs-631601.aspx
Plastics Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Andrew Cryer @CryerRovers Vukcevic released by Rovers by mutual consent #LTtransfers
LeChuck Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 But if Odemwingie is staying surely that allows us to get Jermoe Thomas? Hoilett would replace Thomas. Without that deal they need him (he started their last game). I assume they've decided they can do without Odemwingie as they've got Lukaku, Long, Rosenberg and Fortune.
Plastics Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Can't say I'm too bothered about Simon going.

Scandallous that he never got a decent run of games at Rovers, but this is probably for the best seeing as he's obviously not rated
hollowsr Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Shame to see Simon go but obviously something about him that many managers have not liked at all!
jones_rover Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Odemwingie has been playing out wide for WBA though...
Pitty Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 So wait it's RUMOURED that Robbo isn't leaving because he's demanding a pay off so we're all just forgetting what a good player he's been for us? He has not though has he, If he was a good servant he would have kept himself in shape. Never been happy with Robbo at Rovers, poor keeper.
Backroom Tom Posted January 31, 2013 Author Backroom Posted January 31, 2013 Wow we must have been really keen to be shut of Simon
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Yes he's been fine for the most part and great instinct saves but he's prone to errors, weak in the air, poor on shots from distance and had the worst shots to goals conceded ratio in the league a year or two back. Always liked the guy I just don't understand where this 'great servant' stuff comes from Yeah, apart from the odd minor weakness in his game he's an all time great. I don't think. The guys been a liability for 18 months. Lucky Sam dodged a bullet again. He could have had two has beens in goal at West Ham. Robbo and Jaskaleinen.
LeChuck Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Odemwingie has been playing out wide for WBA though... Just explaining what is being said. Take it up with Steve Clarke! Everything suggests no Odemwingie move = no Thomas move.
donnermeat Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 In a way I'm relieved he's gone, I can finally relax now as I get stressed out at him not playing.
Stuart Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Wow we must have been really keen to be shut of Simon Bizarre.
AdamRochina Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 i loved simon at the begining but now, im not that botherd, hes not started enough and if we can get in a replacment its all good
danger19_80 Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Sky Sports breaking news on the Jerome Thomas talks now...suggests it's close?
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 In a way I'm relieved he's gone, I can finally relax now as I get stressed out at him not playing. Same. The funny and at the same time frustrating thing is that there are clearly inferior players in his position and they are going nowhere. But if the management don't want him what are you going to do?
Backroom Tom Posted January 31, 2013 Author Backroom Posted January 31, 2013 Bizarre. Talented player something wasn't right from the start though whether its the rumoured bad attitude or the rumoured big bonuses who knows Good luck to him though
