Steve Moss Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Assuming the Rovers are honest actors, it isn't the end. Can't they can do a loan with an automatic purchase in the summer, all on the same purchase and personal terms, during next week's loan window?

keaney23 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Would not surprise me if Appleton walks out . It did not take much for him to do that at Blackpool
Kelbo Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 What a bloody shambles of a club we have become, someone needs sacking!!!
TugaysMarlboro Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Two domestic loans allowed. How long is Kane here for?
Salgado Is A Hero Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Turkish window closes at 12. Just read somewhere else it closes at 5pm UK time tomorrow.
Baz Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Forests new owners giving Venkys a run. Boyd failedmedical because of eye test, sacked decent manager whilst on verge of playoffs. Shebby, time to get on the phone your title is slipping. I apologise now for this.
dwayne cage Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 What a disgrace. We chose to support this club now we get to sit back and watch it die. Soon our board will have to be escorted to work in armed cars. It will get that bad.
greggyk Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 no idea about DJ...but West Brom wont allow Jerome to leave
Backroom Tom Posted February 1, 2013 Author Backroom Posted February 1, 2013 So now we have got rid of 3 people who have played on the wing and not brought anyone in there, what options do we now have? CKR? But he looked like playing up top with Rhodes Pedersen? Never a right winger Orr? Never a footballer (joke but he's not a winger is he) King? Injured
magicalmortensleftpeg Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Screwed. I could accept Rochina/Vukcevic going if Thomas in particular, was signed. For neither of them to have their deals sorted in time is ridiculous. It shouldn't have come down to this. I was going to attend the Brighton and Arsenal away trips. I'm seriously considering not going to either. You can't put up with this.
BlueMonday Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Would not surprise me if Appleton walks out . It did not take much for him to do that at Blackpool He must be considering it. He has an impossible task now at a clearly dysfunctional Club. We'll be a blot on his CV.
Baz Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 TBF it could be just as likely,if not more so(honestly!) that the selling clubs are to blame and pulled the plug on the deals cos there transfer dealings didn't go to plan. Qpr had 6 or 7 players leave today. WBA i understand may have been a little more occupied watching their centre forward on sky sports in a london car park.
dwayne cage Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 So we have lost wingers, attacking midfielders, some internationals and some up and comong talent. Gained nothing.
Ben-2000 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 For a club supposedly aiming for promotion we have without doubt weakened the squad in this window. We have had 31 days to sign players, yet miss out due to going over the deadline!
blueboy3333 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Very pleased with the players that have left, not one of them has contributed. However, not replacing them is scandalous and whoever was in charge of the paperwork should be sacked. Singh & Shagnew are a total embarrassment to BRFC.
BlueMonday Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Venkys will be delighted at todays business. A trip to Pune by MA in the next few days might tell its own story. Nothings changed, different day same old bull sh1t.

Ah to wake up to hear they have been sacked will be just perfect.
roverandout Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 thank fook my season ticket is in the bin, glad i dont have to watch that dross on saturday
dwayne cage Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Apparently Shebby had nothing to do with the window. Salgado asks what was he going?
thenodrog Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Shocking. I expected nothing less. Me neither once that snowball hit it's target!
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Funny how all the outgoing paperwork was completed on time...
broadsword Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 What price Richards returning to Turkey tomorrow then? Strange that there was no problem sorting out a new backroom team, but completing two transfers is beyond rovers. I would suggest that that is purely down to incompetence rather than a refusal to spend money. Just think how much money has been spunked on pay-offs. So I don't think it's malice, just pure clumsoidness.
rog of the rovers Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 We dont know the reasons why they didnt go through just yet. I imagine the Odemwingie fiasco ended the Thomas deal (seeing as he played at Everton the other day). Campbell is more confusing. I'm sure (hoping) there is a logical explanation to this. Personally, I dont think were going up this year so happy to see some of the deadwood leave. Lets not forget, we still have a large squad to choose from, particularly when everyone is fit.
