Braddock, you are aware that disabled people can still use gym equipment, right? Someone with one leg may enjoy a go on the bench press etc ;)

I have taken the rubber off people's wipers for parking stupidly before. It may not change their parking habits but it'll annoy them and cost them a couple quid haha.

I was asking what he was saying, not saying what was the case.

Was only ribbing you mate, dw.

People who park on double yellows, in disabled bays, don't indicate should be hanged! It's dangerous, dammit!!

People who don't acknowledge you for letting them pass, or come out of a side road, should just get a life sentence.

People that make a big deal of thinking there letting you pass when you actually have 'right of way' in the 1st place irritate me and it gets very tedious having to acknowledge everybody regardless of who's actually giving way to who(id prefer it if everybody just stuck to the highway code instead of all this fake politeness :P ).

Abbey send me the contact details you wrote to. On my commute to work (mostly on a cycle) there are two really bad spots for dangerous parking. One is in haslingdon, where people often park on a roundabout. (Next to co-op / petrol station. Then in accrington next to Henry Gregsons cycle shop. It is horrendous, their is consistently 5 or so cars illegally parked. It causes me massive issues on my cycle.

My driving pet peeves are first and foremost when you are in a queue of traffic at the lights and some kean bombs up the right hand turn only lane, you know full well he's going to try and cut in at the last minute as well. No greater feeling than when people bunch together in a show of solidarity and don't let them in.

Also hate people parking in parent and child spaces without kids

Yes!

Both of these.

Additionally, people who have no idea what their indicators are for.

They either don't bother indicating - meaning you have to be psychic to know which direction they're going) or they do indicate when they don't need to (eg in a right-only lane).

Every time I drive I expect every other driver on the road to be an idiot - and drive accordingly - and you can be assured that you'll always come across at least one or two.

You think that's bad? I was forced take a wheelchair on the road because of those mindless, thoughtless idiots on Mill Hill. Shocking.

Wheelchair? Those pushing prams and holding onto toddlers face the same problems too.

Just like people who go to the gym and park in disabled bays.

Don't some people think disablement isn a punishment from some God or other?

How about if you took your Mum to the supermarket Tom?

Absolutely the best and safest way to drive.

Maybe it's my age, but I get wound up by people who park in mother and child or disabled bays when they are not entitled to.

I'll circumnavigate the car park for ages looking for an ordinary space but they take the mick. Before now I've actually called over to them "where are the kids?" - not always advisable in Wythenshawe

Every match day there are usually major problems with cars blocking roads and bus routes because of selfish, thoughtless and sometimes illegal parking on nearly every street and road near me(infirmary area-near manxman), its mostly Blackburn fans(and the odd away supporter).

(although this season its only been half as bad because of the big drop in supporters attending)

TBH-it personally doesn't bother me much because its always been like this and i knew of the problem before moving here and i imagine for many residents of Whalley range, Audley, queens park they feel the same as me about these issues in their area, because its mainly caused by people attending mosque, so they just accept it and are used to it.

Traffic wardens all over the ewood area yesterday .

That's usual. The intention is to make sure the locals aren't inconvenienced by visiting fans

Maybe around the ground, but i didnt see any arond my way(the area at the bottom end of Manxman rd), though as i said earliy presumably because of the big drop in attendances its only half as bad as it normaly is this year, though you still alawys get the odd numpty.

Why target football fans and not dangerously parked cars on the range?

As theno says, I take my mum to the supermarket. We're parent and child relations, so aside from the technicality, I don't see the issue. Tho I only treat these as normal spaces; I don't specifically aim to park in them.

I understand disabled bays being closer to the shops but see no reason for parent/child spaces. What makes it any different to a family of 4 who are all over 18? (Had to make that age point as Darwen is hardly classy haha).

Ewood parks on one of the busiest roads in the county and also with so many people walking around the area on matchdays its the last place you'd want an accident to happen i imagine.

In reality if theres say 5-10 disabled parking bays outside a average size store,gym,etc.. whats the odds of them all being used at the same time by disabled people, Id only ever consider parking in one if there was absolutely nowhere else available, but i do think there's a bit of overly PC'ness about having so many disabled bays when they raraley ever all get occupied at once by disabled people(i also notice that though the cars have a disabled badge in them, a lot of the time its doesnt belong to the actual person driving the car).

Parent and child spaces - If you have a child seat with a small child in it you sometimes can't get the seat out as the cars parked next to you are too close. You might also need to get the buggy out to the side of the car to lift the child into.

Surely any sort of vehicle parked dangerously should be scrutinised regardless of them being football fans or not. I see vehicles every morning parked dangerously and causing me and other motorist problems in the Mill Hill area. Those mindless idiots care about nobody but themselves. Then they have the nerve to stand outside whilst having a cigarette and watch their vehicle obstructing others. Idiots.
