Steve Moss Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Upson and Lowe both on yellows. Is the match exceptionally rough? Or is the ref hyper-sensitive?
perthblue02 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Bloody hell talk about against the run of play 64 % possession to Brighton
neophox Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Brighton has had some pressure but get frustrated a bit after 25 mins Dann score from a corner!
Clitherover Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Get in Dann! Will be tough to hold a lead by the sounds of things.
Backroom DE. Posted February 12, 2013 Backroom Posted February 12, 2013 We don't deserve it, but you win games based on goals scored not effort. We'll need to improve if we're going to keep or build on our lead though.
Backroom Tom Posted February 12, 2013 Backroom Posted February 12, 2013 Sounds like a perfect away set up so far, soak up pressure and hit them on breaks. Maybe struck too early mind you if we sit back too much we'll be in bother
Baz Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Slightly off-topic; but as someone who lives outside Radio Lancs' area and can't get it on t'computer because of "contractual agreements", I'm watching Celtic and relying on here for updates on our game. Seeing the pre-match atmosphere at Celtic Park took me back to our UEFA Cup game there; that's got to be our long-term aim. We out-sang them all game when we played them...... The pre match stuff was so co-ordinated they had a guy on the pitch then played in the intro as the bbc went live to the stadium. It was fantastic, but very contrived. They then didnt muster another song for 90 minutes until they scored the winner in one of the best ever away performances ive seen from Rovers. How we didnt win 3 or 4 nil ill never know.
neophox Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 I Think getting Williamson or Pedersen in for Lowe at half time.

Plastics Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Me and my Dad were listening in the car on the way home. Loads of pressure and we had just conceded a corner when we made the move inside. Turn radio back on and after a minute we find out we are one up. This could be a long, long game.
arbitro Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Sounds like a perfect away set up so far, soak up pressure and hit them on breaks. Maybe struck too early mind you if we sit back too much we'll be in bother I feel a lot more confident defending a one nil lead under Appleton than the imposter.
chaddyrovers Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Brighton have alot of possesion but didnt go anyway with it alot of the time. Dann with his third goal of the season. Football is about scoring and winning not possesion. Defensive so far so good.
Steve Moss Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 I Think getting Williamson or Pedersen in for Lowe at half time. Which I think would be smart. He's on a yellow and young. Besides, Williamson needs some time on the pitch and MGP (should) have something to prove (as he's a bench player now, and not a starter like last week).

We'll need to improve if we're going to keep or build on our lead though. If the tactics were to sit back and soak up the early pressure then we deserve it. However feel free to have a dig whenever

Maybe struck too early mind you if we sit back too much we'll be in bother Thats my worry too but of course, Brighton have to come out now and maybe leave themselves open at the back!!

Plastics Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 I wish the commentator on Radio Lancashire would pronounce the R in Jordan Rhodes' first name.
m1st Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Radio Sussex says it has coverage online but they are playing "The Living years" at the moment, not sure I can listen to this for much longer. Why is it that Radio Lancs is always off when footie is on but BBC does allow access to some stations. I've listened to a few this season and last but never on radio lancs for some reason. Thanks, McClarky. When I tried them it was still 0-0 and they were playing "Let's hang on" by the Four Seasons!
McClarky Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Judging by what Martin said in LET tonight we should be more confident of hanging on. Pity it's taken 5 managers for someone to realise that games last 90 minutes and you have to be fit to play for the whole game.
Plastics Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Thats my worry too but of course, Brighton have to come out now and maybe leave themselves open at the back!! Sounds like they've been out from the start!
McRovers Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Is there anyway to get a radio stream online? i know its being broadcast on Beeb sussex but apparently that has different programming if you stream it online than if you're listening to the analogue transmission, which I can't get this far north.
