I somehow managed to get a crack from the top of my screen to towards the bottom, whilst it was in my pocket at work and I was wondering if anyone knew of any repair shops in or around the Blackburn with Darwen area?. I got a quote from Buzz Box of around £150 but that would require sending it to Essex. Any info would be appreciated, cheers.

How confident are you at doing things like that yourself? Going rate on eBay for a new screen + tools seems to be £42 - £44. Probably lots of YouTube videos around that will talk you through it.

I once cracked a Nokia touchscreen phone a couple of years ago. (During celebrations when we beat Chelsea in the cup).

I managed to get hold of a replacement screen on eBay or Amazon for about £40.

It came with fitting instructions which were reasonable simple. They have push fit connectors not unlike a PC monitor (but on a smaller scale). The new screen worked a treat and I saved myself a good few quid.
