SydneyRover Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Wow that's pretty emotive language from NH, usually his pieces are particularly objective and dispassionate (in a good way). I guess we would have to be the favourites there given the "now in the Championship" bit and how much he's reported on us before. The only question would be who? There's so many who have tarnished our club lately who would fit that description.
Blue Cabbage Posted February 14, 2013 Author Posted February 14, 2013 I would hazard a guess at a certain Mr Kean maybe
philipl Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Even what gets published next will only be scratching the surface.
darrenrover Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 There are many suspects with regards to Rovers. I would guess it isn't us however by the phrase "has sought to profit" as opposed to has profited but who knows.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Could still be Carson Yeung or someone. I'd imagine it's us but it's not guaranteed to be by any stretch. A lot of shady characters involved in football.
RoyRover Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 It can only be about one man (I'd like to think so at least).
jimlav Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Plenty of people this can be about in the Championship!
chaddyrovers Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 philipl, lets see wat Nick Harris writes first before judging it. wat have you seen that most rovers fans havent???
SydneyRover Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Plenty of people this can be about in the Championship! That one word "now" only really limits it to a recently relegated club
sparky12 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I'm sorry but this is about one man! We all know of him too well!
thenodrog Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 imo it's more likely to be somebody at a sports agency based in Switzerland. Thats surely where it all started. Coco was just a puppet on a chain.
philipl Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I should imagine what will appear will have many saying that they knew it already but others chose to rubbish it completely. So chaddy there will be no surprises to you or any other Rovers supporters. 47er Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I would hazard a guess at a certain Mr Kean maybe Can't be Kean, he didn't simply seek to profit from the Club----he totally succeeded.
philipl Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 The Harris tweet is an open invitation to somebody to stop sending legal letters like confetti and actually ho get an injunction.
Blue Cabbage Posted February 15, 2013 Author Posted February 15, 2013 The Harris tweet is an open invitation to somebody to stop sending legal letters like confetti and actually ho get an injunction. Agreed Philip, looks like battle will commence!!!
OJRovers Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 You can't help but think back to the Andy Cole article on Sam being sacked: "Everyone, including Sam, is stunned. I'm not, because a trusted little bird told me two months ago what was going to happen. He said that the club would be taken over by an Indian company and that Sam would be pushed aside, to be replaced by the coach Steve Kean. If Keano does well then he keeps the job. If I knew that, then Sam did and he is probably right to think that he is been stabbed in the back."
John Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Strong language, very interested to see what this is about.
Clitherover Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Im going to say, the father of the next Chris Smalling.
47er Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Timing is interesting. When's the group of supporters meeting with the Football League or it it the Premier league? Early March? Be great if a lot of stuff came out just before then. Harris is certainly sending signals to someone (can't think who). Like it!
bypass06 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Just looking through more of his tweets, And it could be Ken Bates.
47er Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Its a continuing story isn't? He dropped the hint a week or two ago. No question which club that was about----he named us!
