It has sounded like a no-show from Rovers. Not good enough.

When I saw the team selection and heard how it was lining up I wondered if Appleton was using the game to test something out. Bringing Rekik (a left-back?) in but not using it as an opportunity to push Olsson forward is hard to explain. That midfield was never going to be good enough.

Next game: Bentley and Olsson out wide, please.

crap result. Shows how far we've fallen when some people are ok with us losing 2-0 at Hull.

But we have fallen that far like it or not thanks to the owners and Kean and Hull are the second best team in this league

Agree DE. Some fans needed bringing back down to earth unfortunately. We haven't been playing well of late, just organised and hard to beat. Out run was always going to come to an end. Next season it is!

The post above you shows how unrealistic some perceptions still are. We're a mid table Championship team. Whenever we play the big guns in this league we get outplayed, it's happened time after time. Being solid and organised is fine, but only having 1 shot on goal in any competitive match is pretty pathetic. We managed more shots against Arsenal ffs.

Bad night, but we are not good enough to go up! It will take MA time, and Venkys money to make it happen. Took two seasons last time....will take the same again if they are serious about our club!

Agreed entirely

This should help to keep expectations in check, we were never going up this season we had expected that then got excited at a bit of form

we need a target man. rhodes is lethal in front of goal but offers nothing else. this means we lose the ball to often as our midfield isnt good enough to play the ball around. one thing app has done is made us harder to break down which is critical but we do very little week in week out in the other half. id thought we'd have brought in some good cm in instead of bringing in bentley
