Rover_Shaun Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Sorry forgot this was brfcs, lets all just be depressed forget all the positives since Appleton took over and comment on how crap the team is. Nobody is forgetting anything. But burying ones head in the sand is not the way to improve.

Proudtobeblue&white Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Bounce back Sat, dream to win at Millwall & a Wembley visit, strong finish, plan for next season....MA could be ok. Still have the dark forces pulling the strings, still v unstable, still need caution.
pick32 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Should of rested the team there clearly burnt out by bustin a gut to get results, at least with have a team playing with passion again.
Gally Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 When we're all feeling down just remember, it could be worse, we could be Wolves I'd be making them favourites to go down after the last few weeks. Wonder if they're regretting buying a new stand now.
Josh Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Williamson stretchered off. The new Grella. Midfield over-run again, who'd have thunked it. Still not addressed the bleedin obvious. The new Grella? be quiet.
Backroom Tom Posted February 19, 2013 Backroom Posted February 19, 2013 The B stands for bipolar. And the F for fickle
alexanders Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Millwall suffering FA cup backlash as well.
broadsword Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Sorry forgot this was brfcs, lets all just be depressed forget all the positives since Appleton took over and comment on how crap the team is. Why do Rovers Fans have to be so out of love with reality? Appleton's got us more organised, started to repair some of the damage and overseen a somewhat fortuitous win at Arsenal. Lots of problems still remain, however. It's not all bad, but it's not all good, either.
hesfromburn Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Difference has been quality of final ball and our poor midfield again murphy especially giving the ball away and not being able to get it Back. Sometimes I think Rhodes needs to offer more as a striker imo
jim mk2 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Cheery thought Millwall 1 Posh 5 We beat Post 4-1 so therefore we should beat Millwall by about nine goals.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 The new Grella? be quiet. Injury prone. There's a reason he was unattached.
perthblue02 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Cheer up, the play off push is not over until Chaddy types it
mattjansen Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Well despite losing we only drop one point towards Boro in the last play-off position, sounds like the worst perfomance under Appy. But a win on sat and a Boro loss it's back to four points again.

It's not all bad, but it's not all good, either. Of course lots of problems remain, Appleton inherited an awful, imbalanced squad and has took measures to make us tougher to beat Tonight is a bad bad day at the office and it highlights the challenges faced, I'm not a Rovers Fan but I do feel the manager should be given a bit of time and space to sort things without being jumped on (not for a minute saying you are by the way)
yoda's brother Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Cheery thought Millwall 1 Posh 5 We beat Post 4-1 so therefore we should beat Millwall by about nine goals. so we will probably lose then
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted February 19, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted February 19, 2013 Cheery thought Millwall 1 Posh 5 We beat Post 4-1 so therefore we should beat Millwall by about nine goals. Good post for you that Jim, made me chuckle!

jim mk2 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Difference has been quality of final ball and our poor midfield again murphy especially giving the ball away and not being able to get it Back. Sometimes I think Rhodes needs to offer more as a striker imo Has been suggested before but am informed by cognoscenti he's definitely PL quality. Truth is without his goals he's not much use.
barry_ Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Danny Murphy should not have a place in the team, he is S.H.I.T. and has been all season.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted February 19, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted February 19, 2013 The latter has applied to many strikers before Rhodes as well. Has been suggested before but am informed by cognoscenti he's definitely PL quality. Truth is without his goals he's not much use. Play off push isn't over, but it always was a very tall order at any rate, I always figured we'd be better getting to the summer, re-grouping and going again in August, a la Leicester.
Stuart Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Can't believe I'm reading critical or doubting comments towards Appleton. Sheesh. At what point did promotion this season become an expectation rather than a hope?
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 The most disappointing thing MA tactically out done by Steve Bruce. It is only one match and possibly an after effect of Arsenal - more worrying we have yet to play well under MA.
koi Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 In my humble opinion the chances of sneaking a PO place is slim this season but a good foundation can be built for a proper push next season - owners willing of course!
Backroom DE. Posted February 19, 2013 Backroom Posted February 19, 2013 Appleton definitely shouldn't be criticised, he's doing what he can with the team he's inherited. It's just a bit galling to see a team with some players on £30k+ a week being outplayed by Hull. But there you go. Hopefully Venky's won't be rushing to spunk money on ex-premiership mercenaries this summer.
