AJW Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 i'd be happy with a point tonight , but i have a sneaky feeling we could nick this . i'm going for another 0-1 with Rovers again, defending for most the game

riverside returns Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 That is failing to take into account the half a season of poor performances thus far!
Clitherover Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Tough game tonight, draw would be nice. The Dingles can do us a favour by not losing to Middlesborough, Cardiff will beat Brighton at home so no worries there.
Andy Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Dingles should beat Boro to be honest - they're decent at home and Boro are on an awful run. Cardiff should beat Brighton tonight, but in this league we've seen many times that anybody can beat anybody...
Backroom Tom Posted February 19, 2013 Backroom Posted February 19, 2013 If we get a result then any result in the Burnley / Boro game can be a good one (or any can be a bad one should we lose) This league is weird though when we beat Ipswich all our rivals had easy fixtures and they all lost bar one
perthblue02 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Any of the Oz posters know if it will be televised over there? I presume not but its worth a shout I guess. Unfortunately not , we got treated to a delay of Crawley vs Doncaster last night. Only Championship game that seems to be getting shown live tonight is Cardiff v Brighton on Astro Supersport (Malaysia I think)

Surprised we haven't been shown on an Indian TV channel more often.
only2garners Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Cardiff have Malaysian owners don't they? Surprised we haven't been shown on an Indian TV channel more often. Rovers have a 3 hour weekly programme on an Indian satellite TV channel, including a full replay of the week's game. Anyway I've just made a snap decision to go to Hull tonight. Setting off in half an hour.
LeChuck Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Rovers have a 3 hour weekly programme on an Indian satellite TV channel, including a full replay of the week's game. Oh didn't know that. 3 hours is a lot of time to fill, even allowing for 90 minutes of football.
harwood rover Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I think 'Dannley' refers to both Dann and Hanley Yes. I put this up on Twitter a few weeks back, quoting it as "our very own version of Jedward". No-one cottoned onto it, so thanks for noticing
Backroom Mike E Posted February 19, 2013 Backroom Posted February 19, 2013 Oh didn't know that. 3 hours is a lot of time to fill, even allowing for 90 minutes of football. It's about the same as a typical match shown here tbf (allowing for manager interviews, punditry etc).
rovers11 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Interesting game tonight. Can't call it. Think we may narrowly lose. It always happens when you get a great result in the cup, you come crashing down to earth. The most important thing is that we don't lose any ground on Brighton or boro. If we lose and the other two don't win then that wouldn't be a disaster. Need to keep in touch and then gain ground from more winnable home games.
Mr. E Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 We beat Arsenal we should be on telly today not them. / joke
Blue n White Rover Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Yes. I put this up on Twitter a few weeks back, quoting it as "our very own version of Jedward". No-one cottoned onto it, so thanks for noticing Cringeworthy. What next? Lorphy for our formidable CM pairing. Get a grip.
T4E Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Great preview m1st, thanks. Mrs T4E gave birth to a baby boy earlier this afternoon, so hoping Rovers give us 3 points tonight to add to the celebrations.
Blue n White Rover Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Great preview m1st, thanks. Mrs T4E gave birth to a baby boy earlier this afternoon, so hoping Rovers give us 3 points tonight to add to the celebrations. Absolutely fantastic news mate. Really chuffed for you. Congratulations. Hope both, baby and Mrs are well.

Mrs T4E gave birth to a baby boy earlier this afternoon, so hoping Rovers give us 3 points tonight to add to the celebrations. Congrats T4E! Name picked? Or waiting to see who scores for us tonight (if any)?
harwood rover Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Cringeworthy. What next? Lorphy for our formidable CM pairing. Get a grip. Lorphy doesn't work, at all. Were you bullied as a child? Misery guts.
LeChuck Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Great preview m1st, thanks. Mrs T4E gave birth to a baby boy earlier this afternoon, so hoping Rovers give us 3 points tonight to add to the celebrations. Bloody hell, congratulations!
Backroom Tom Posted February 19, 2013 Backroom Posted February 19, 2013 Congrats T4E! Enjoy the game tonight folks, wish I was going, it's good to have that feeling again
Mark Atkins' Bald Patch Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Great preview m1st, thanks. Mrs T4E gave birth to a baby boy earlier this afternoon, so hoping Rovers give us 3 points tonight to add to the celebrations. Congratulations T4E. Hope mother and baby are doing well. 3 points and a Middlesbrough defeat would round the day of nicely wouldn't it? Obviously you'll be naming him Dannley.
phildinio Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 We could name the left side of our team Olsson by merging together Martin Olsson and Marcus Olsson
T4E Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Thanks you lot. Mum and baby are doing well. His name is Leo and he weighed a whopping 9lbs 8ozs. Don't quite know how she managed it!
nellybc Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Congratulations! 3 points would be a great day! Just got into pub for a few Pre match shandies! Feeling nervous but fancy a sneaky 1-0 with a Rhodes goal.
