We started off brightly but after ten minutes or so settled into the most ineffective football you are ever likely to see. Defence smashes it up the pitch, we lose the ball, Millwall lose the ball... repeat. It's nauseating to watch and I don't care what people say about the team Appleton has been left with, his tactics are a f-cking joke and have been for the past month.

Another 45 minutes without scoring, and it isn't hard to see why. Appleton's tactics make Big Sam's look Barcelona-esque in comparison.

Pedersen has been terrible, btw. The man is finished as a footballer at any remotely decent level.

I'm finding it hard to have the energy to really care any more. They've taken away absolutely everything that we were proud of.

Agreed. But Appleton is making each spectacle worse with his appalling, appalling football. I wouldn't give a flying one if it worked but our last seven or so results should tell him that it @#/? doesn't.

It doesn't matter to me that it wasn't a corner that led to the goal. We deserve to be behind and lose the game if we keep playing like this.

We played exactly the same way in the first game. It was awful yet nothing has changed.

100% - if we were winning I wouldn't care either but there's no way we can win playing like this. Under Allardyce people argued it was the only way to compete at that level. I didn't agree but atleast there was sense to it. Is this the only way we can compete with Millwall? At what level would we be capable of stringing a couple of passes together?

We might find out next season.

Yup. What's the point even having Dunn & Pedersen as a CM pairing if not going to get them on the ball? Well... maybe less so Pedersen. At least Dunn's been getting stuck in and trying to work the ball forward when he's had the scant opportunity. Might as well just have two wheelie bins in the half-way circle if we're all going to do is lump it over them and back to Millwall's goalie.

rank yet again, boring, ineffective, just @#/?, appleton is fast losing my faith in him, pedersen is just a ponce without an ounce of ability or footballing brain, 10 passengers in the team, not one of them capable of getting hold of the ball and doing something with it, my apathy towards rovers is growing by the day.

The Rovers Fans will probably count them as shots

We had too many creative players in the team, now we have none...

Yup, "too many no. 10s" wasn't it?

See the whole point of having a no. 10 is that he links midfield with the lone striker. There's no point throwing another player up front if we're not going to give them any better service.
