Proudtobeblue&white Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 So they can Kean it up across two continents......the authorities only need to look at the Wenys experience over here to know they are not fit and proper.....however they will no doubt be welcomed in with open arms!
Clitherover Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 At least Appleton will have a place to shift freeloaders like Murphy and Orr to play their contracts out, can't think of anything more hilarious than them two playing their football in some Indian backwater.
perthblue02 Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Wonder if any just like a family member will be "advising" them this time, no doubt the sharks will be surfacing sleeping bag at the ready if there's cash to made. What's the betting they use Blackburn Rovers in any franchise name should they be successful
MrT Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 They should concentrate on sorting out the mess they've created here first Punatics

bluebruce Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 They should concentrate on sorting out the mess they've created here first Punatics You sure? Do you really want them trying to fix it? They're like a very poor man's Midas- everything they touch turns to @#/?. They should concentrate on sorting out the mess they've created here first Punatics You sure? Do you really want them trying to fix it? They're like a very poor man's Midas- everything they touch turns to @#/?. It could actually even be of use to distract them from our club. Maybe they will even learn the ropes of football a bit better if they're dealing with a club on their own doorstep, instead of this one so far away where they seem to know nothing as a result.
T.J.Newton Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Seriously wouldn't be surprised if they tried shipping BRFC over there and registering them into the league(it is theoretically possible I think!)
Guest Norbert Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Maybe Ronaldinho will play for them over there. Once he's finished fighting aliens of course. I do think that if the Raos were not such a bunch of keanheaded idiots, it could have worked out alright. There could have been an opportunity to build the franchise into a feeder club for the established team (i.e. us), and then any talented kids from over there could have a trial for us. Wew'd also have gained a lot of positive publicity over there, possibly made a bit of money etc. Sadly, the reality is rather different, as we all know too well.
Paul Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 What a bloody stupid competition that is. Should suit the Rao family down to the ground
Baz Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Strong allegations of match fixing... No relegation for 3 years.... Hmm, I wonder why they are interested?
Guest Norbert Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 It's a new, big money sporting event in India. So it'll be brown envelopes a go-go just like the IPL. I wonder if Steve Kean will be a pundit on the TV show, or manage the Pune Arnies or whatever they'll be called. It might rival all those Arab leagues for one last pay day for greedy/clapped out players and managers.
