perthblue02 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Gotta love Phil's conspiracy theories. Wasn't the 'whole' story meant to have broken in a national paper by now Phil?? They'd have made far more money by us staying up. That's blatently obvious. But that would be money that had to be accounted for, and any strange payments would need to be explained. Whilst I don,t believe the whole thing is just a betting scam, it would not surprise me if it was just one of many ways that is generating income, which is finding its way to various third parties. Anyway back to the game ,sounds absolute dire, can see a new venkys out campaign just around the corner, no doubt prompting more high fiving in our boardroom

T4E Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Or Eric Black. Either would have done way better than this.
booth Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 This isn't even a good Burnley team, their fans have been slagging off Dyche for the way they've been playing. It puts it into perspective how bad Appleton is.
Blue blood Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Not sure why Best off for Morris. Surely that must mark the end of long balls, as without Best we haven't even a glimmer of winning a header.

No it won't crAppleton has nothing else in his locker. We haven't even tested the keeper. I wonder what words of wisdom he had at half time, don't lose the second half? try not to get hammered? Why would he not replace a striker with someone more like for like
Backroom Tom Posted March 17, 2013 Backroom Posted March 17, 2013 34 years about to become a lifetime if we lose this and go down
G Somerset Rover Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 When was the last time we tested an opposition keeper? In all seriousness I can't recall a save being made in the last few games. 3.5 games without a goal too and counting.
booth Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 What a useless c*** he really is. You'd think out of three seemingly useless appointments we'd be lucky enough to get one happy accident. But no, usless c***s the lot of them. Fancy playing long balls up to Jordan Rhodes. Useless useless c*** given the job by three more useless c***s and employed by some even more useless c***s. C***s out!
neophox Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 This is @#/? at the moment... Why do we stand with this..
Blue blood Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Listening to 5 live, apparently we've put Stewart up front! He's not a striker, and as the commentators have said, why not use Gomes as he is a forward player? Hoped the sub would maybe mean a change in formation or tactics, but instead it seems same tactics with different personnel. Worryingly clueless and uninspiring.
adopted scouser Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Monkey man changes it from 8-0-2 to 9-0-1 And we are losing at home Tacticul genius
RibbleValleyRover Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Lucky to not be 2-0 down. Burnley down to 10 men. Rovers have to try and capitalise.
martmitch Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Ben Mee red card, if we cant get something from this now I give up
BRFC1995 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Well this is worse than a pessimistic barsteward like myself could have expected............. c'mon 10 men get gomes on NOW
Blue blood Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Dingles down to 10 men! Surely we have no excuses for not getting back into this!
booth Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Burnley down to ten men which will just make their victory even more sweeter because we all know Appleton won't change things. We will still defend and play hoofball against ten men.
broadsword Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 This reminds me of spurs away last season. surely if we don't go down this season, we will next.
