Rovers linked with Tim Sherwood today in the Sunday People. Shebby wants him to be next manager. don't know what's Shebby Obsession with him.

and before everybody asking for a link. go and buy the paper if you want to read the story. no link online on the Sunday People website.

not saying it will happen, just posted the story on here for other fans to discuss.

Nicko did write the story was Sherwood was at the Watford Away game. plus Shebby has been keen on Sherwood from the day he came in as 'Global Advisor'.

So were Peter Taylor and Jose Megson.

Cheap regurgitated column inches from the file marked "slow-burners/guesses/lolz". If we got more than about 3 sentences of "football spy" type filler I'll be amazed.

Sherwood is a very strong person and wont take anybody telling him what to do if he was Manager.

Kamy said this in a podcast last year when he was linked with the Rovers job.

plus speaking to people who watch him on Middle East TV commentating, he is very Genuine. Speaks his mind. Knows his football. Doesn't shy away from criticizing even Spurs players. Unbiased largely

but he wouldn't come last year, so why would he come now.

Its just that Shebby wants him NOT Sherwood wants the Rovers Job.

don't know why Shebby is so Obsess with him tho.

Sherwood was at the game as was peter taylor, they work together for england u20 i think.

its in the Total Football section.

Megson and Taylor both linked with Rovers in past 3 months aswell.

think its Shebby wants Sherwood. couldn't get him last year and has ALWAYS been Shebby 1st choice for the Rovers job. But Shebby cant get him to come so move on.

Same here. The last thing I wanted is another one of our title winning squad coming here and becoming embroiled in the mess the club now is.

I think Bowyer has done enough this season to earn the job. He has done really well with what he has been given. Besides that, he seems like a really really good bloke which is always a plus in my book.

Big mistake in my opinion. Further pointer that Venky's don't know which way to turn. He'll be at Singh's beck and call - and with him having no experience in the transfer market whatsoever, coupled with the fact that this season is the last one that comes with parachute payments, we could regret this big time. Massive gamble and all down to Venky's who obviously don't have the knowledge to bring in the best manager available. If you don't look around, invite applications and take advice, you won't find anyone.
