tomphil Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Wouldn't be suprised to see this bubbling along for another week with Bowyer being favourite then a complete leftfield something like 14/1 shot guy is installed just like Berg/Appleton. Of course there is no betting going on back in India filling back pockets, perish the thought.

Rover_Shaun Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Just heard that it's been confirmed that the club hope to appoint Bowyer soon

So what ? It'll soon open again if he's not appointed soon. Also any bets laid on a 12/1 shot just before they were suspended still get paid out if that guy got suprisingly appointed so i don't see what your point is. Are the markets in Asia suspended as well ?
JAL Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Just heard that it's been confirmed that the club hope to appoint Bowyer soon Who could blame GB if he walked away now.
gumboots Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Who could blame GB if he walked away now. Well certainly not me. If I were him, I'd have walked earlier this week when the story came out that they were hoping to appoint me and then it didn't happen

T.J.Newton Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 If its true that Sherwood was re-approached last week, then I really wouldn't blame him if he walked(though he doesn't seem the quitter type), nobody wants to be second choice(or last resort).
chaddyrovers Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 It seems like Gary Bowyer's permanent appointment might be held up due to some paperwork, as there is a general agreement on his name. #brfc Maybe, and this could not be confirmed, the Venky's want to have good look at all contract details, to avoid a Berg scenario Its being hinted that owners would have liked more experience, Bowyer seems set to clinch it, thanks to unanimous backing of Shagnew, Shebby Seems like a miracle to me, getting the three of them to agree on something. Gary Bowyer is surely working wonders. #brfc #rovers This is from this Indian Journalist Ayush Srivastava https://twitter.com/ayush_sri
broadsword Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Don't believe any of that cobblers. Surely they'd confirm to Ewood that they wanted Bowyer first and then a contract would be drawn up. I don't think we're even at the drawing up stage yet. The lack of decisiveness is one reason why this club is sinking fast. We're well on the way to a 4th successive season of misery.
