Kean should NEVER be remembered as anything but a dark time in our history. Doesn't matter what position we were in when he went, he shouldn't have been there in the first place. Wouldn't have been 2nd in the Championship, wouldn't have been in that division but for him & owners!

Absolutely correct he was a shyster of the highest order and knew exactly when to walk-out to get some sympathy and credit from the media

and fans of other clubs. We were 3rd in the table but he could see himself, we were starting to slip, another couple of weeks he would have

been seen as a total failure even in this league, our performances were shocking and results were totally fluked.

On 31st October 2012 Blackburn Rovers appointed Henning Berg

On 1st November 2012 Ipswich Town appointed Mick McCarthy

This is the league table since that point in time.

I was desperate for Mick to be appointed when Kean was sacked. As soon as Ipswich appointed him and we appointed Berg I knew we'd made a huge mistake, though at the time I didn't think they'd finish above us. It was only after Berg was sacked that I formed that opinion.

Very embarrassing how dismissive our fans were of McCarthy:

"He's a dinosaur"

"He's crap at PL level"

Nevermind the fact that he knows the league that we're in like the back of his hand. Luckily for them, those fans had no say in the matter, because never in a thousand years would Venky's hire a successful, no-nonsense manager.

Quite simply, if Kean was still here, we would now be mathmatically in League 1.

It's pure luck on Venky's part that he walked and we're still in with a shout of staying up, despite some horrific appointments, almost on par with the Bald One in terms of sheer incompetence.

Anyone giving this piece of dog dirt ANY kind of praise seriously needs their head looking at.

Doesn't make sense. When Kean left we were in 3rd place. No one's praising Kean - only saying getting rid of him has made our situation worse. Explain.

I was a critic, but I also said that he was pretty good at this level. 20/20 hindsight is a fantastic thing to have.

So McCarthy has got 19 points more than Rovers since he was appointed.

So add 19 points to Rovers total (assuming that he would do the same....big assumption) and we'd have 66 points and be in 4th place. 5 points off promotion and with a 7 point play-off cushion

Yep Mccarthy would've been great. I recall wanting him or Holloway. However, I was pleased with Berg and still think Berg could've done well. Anyway, what a job Mccarthy's done with Ipswich. The fact that they are fourth since he took over I think show what a difference a manager makes. Thats an amazing stat. Meanwhile, look at us and Wolves. Two relegated teams, and we've been the worst since November, even with Wolves three straight wins.

And how is he crap in the prem? Didn't wolves stay up for two years under him?

How did it make it worse ? Have you conveniently forgot last season and how lucky we were at the start of the season . If teams had took half there chances we would have been walloped early doors too .

we were on a very lucky streak and even he wasn't that stupid to believe lady luck would carry on so the time to quit for media sympathy was then...

Yes, we were third in that early stage of the season but the performances were atrocious and our point accumulation at that stage was purely due to the misguided respect and fear other clubs were showing us.

Make no mistake, Kean is no manager and would have performed even worse than Berg and Appleton had he stayed here.

The fact that you can't gather that yourself from his disastrous 2 years at our club astonishes me a little bit, to be honest.

Gary Bowyer is no manager either and should be nowhere near the full-time role, but he is still head and shoulders above Kean in terms of suitability for the job.

There were football reasons and non football related reasons for why Kean should have never been near the club, let alone manager.

Widely regarded as an arrogant, rude chancer, it one of the great shames in our club's history that he was 'manager' for a period of time - one day too many.

The large majority of fans will never forgive him or his agent for the destruction they have played in all this - they are loathed individuals and quite rightly so.

Schuster wants the job, he contacted executives here got no luck, so has contacted Pune direct.

No idea if he is the right man for us, but he wants the job.

Would be an incredible appointment if it happened, but just can't see it. Too much experience, too well-known, odds not high enough in the betting markets, won't be a puppet for Shebby... take your pick, plenty of reasons for them to say "thanks, but we're busy destroying the club from the ground up, if you don't mind."
