If that's what you think then fine.

Damned if you do and damned if you don't !

You tell me - why did LT run a full page back page on Coyle last week ?

To rule him out......

To rule him out......

Really ?

Good job they didn't say he was a contender otherwise we would have had a special edition !

Seriously, what on earth prompted that back page - no smoke without fire !

Enormous sensitivity about at the moment !

You're unbelievable. You have not got one thing correct since you started playing 'Mr Inside Information,' yet you manage to post things like the above with a straight face?

"You tell me, why did LT run a full back page on Coyle last week?" TO SAY THAT HE ISN'T BECOMING OUR MANAGER! About three days after you posted it was 'imminent.'

They might think he's 'Red' Adair !

Still think he is in pole position but rumour is that Megson has come from nowhere !

IMO, you can forget McLaren, Schuster etc and be prepared to be underwhelmed, again.

I said panic would set in if we lost on Monday and I think it has.

Blimey!!!

Mercerman in 'prepare to be underwhelmed' shocker as Venky's seek new boss.

You should open an online tipping page!!!

Doing my best !

Hey listen - the more incredulous the stuff you hear then the more likely it is to be true with Pune & Shebby !

Hey Mercerman, sometime ago you kept a running tally of the managers we could have had and their records. Perhaps that info now needs forwarded to Puney tunes. Seems to me all the available managers we passed on have gone on to do well. Freedman after an average start seems to have really turned it around at Notlob. McCarthy is now above us. Davies' Forest have stormed up the league since he went there. Even Saunders has Wolves looking like they will escape the drop. I wonder if they even know.

For me, it's the bad appointments that are the real issue. You can't just persist with bad managers imo, Kean proved that. It's dumb to just keep sacking managers after 10/15 games but I'd rather that than persist with shocking ones.

Apologies for the double post but I only just saw this. You may have missed the point i was trying to make. In all honesty 15 games is too short to tell if anyone is good, bad, or indifferent. I saw quite a bit of Appleton at our academy games and he wasn't that bad. Yes the situation is a bit different being full team manager. But, If the most some one can hope for is a dozen or so games before one of the 3 clowns gets hump and sacks them, what hope have you got? Plus You've spent a load on player's who are now nobodie's team. It worrying that a huge chunk of you parachute will be used to pay the casualties of your board's buffoonary and pettiness. Its the fans that always pay the price

Sending us hurtling headlong towards League One was more than enough.

Equating working at an academey to managing a first XI............madness

Steve Clarke had one game in charge at Newcastle which he lost, before joining us. You mock me for what I've said? No disrespect mate But Appleton given a season could have turned it around. Now being from the midlands I've only ever heard Singh's 5 Live interview which didn't come off in the best way possible. I'm not popping at the fans, really, I'm not. The fault here is squarely at the board. They've turned your club into the poison chalice of football.

With respect baggie, Appleton was taking us in only one direction, and it wasn't up.

I can't recall one thing he did during his tenure that made me think he'd be a success, not one.

He may get another chance in management due to a sympathy vote on being associated with the BRFC basket case. If that happens I wish him luck but not as much luck as I wish on the supporters of that club, because they'll need it.

I wonder what Baggie would say if the abject failure rocked up at the hawthorns?

He did, as caretaker got a draw with West Ham before Roy Hodgson was appointed he was then his number 2 for 6 months until the portsmouth job came up and Keith Downing took over. I never meant any of this to be taken as a troll or taken to cause offence. i just think the the fans have been treated apallingly by the board. It matters little to me what appleton does now. but I genuinely thought given time he turn you around. I feel sorry for Darren Moore who I've met a number of times and has always been a gentleman. Seriously, sorry if I caused offence

We didn't have the luxury of giving him a season to learn the job.

Bowyer will be in charge till the end of the season IMO

these rumours of a manager being appoint this week are Rubbish.

we will only appoint a new manager, when the season is over.

Most probably one of these 3 managers, McClaren or Taylor or Robinson will be appoint in the summer IMO
