Gally Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Did you watch the Blackpool match ? - IMO he wasn't far behind Williamson as MOM. We need battlers - and one thing you can't question him for, is his commitment. Agree, one of the few players we have who I'd be sorry to see go.

Clitherover Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Another nail in the coffin tomorrow thanks to a half arsed bunch of players and owners/management said players do not want to work for. 3-1 to Wednesday with our goal coming in the last 15 minutes when we actually start to look like playing.
Daremz Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 First of five wins on the spin. 0-3, Rhodes brace, Kazim third.
West Yorks Rover Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 First of five wins on the spin. 0-3, Rhodes brace, Kazim third. You've been in that weed cafe again, we can tell you know.
Owlsonlineadmin Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Quick question for anyone on here, do Rovers print away fan attendances in the programmes?
tomphil Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Quick question for anyone on here, do Rovers print away fan attendances in the programmes? No but there is a site that gives Championship away followings on't net.
Majiball Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Quick question for anyone on here, do Rovers print away fan attendances in the programmes? They used too, alas now we just use a random number generator.
Owlsonlineadmin Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 No but there is a site that gives Championship away followings on't net. Aye I've got most but missing a few as is that site. They used too, alas now we just use a random number generator. Bit rubbish. Cheers
Gav Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Quick question for anyone on here, do Rovers print away fan attendances in the programmes? They print the home ones but they're usually made up.
Ewood Spark Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 They print the home ones but they're usually made up. To be fair Gav, the club do exactly as they have always done, and as every other club do ..... they give the attendance as the number of tickets SOLD. If people choose not to attend, but have bought a ticket, then they are counted in the total attendance. It really is that simple. As for tomorrow, don't really fancy it ..... so going more out of a sense of duty to be honest. 1-1.

Ewood Spark Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 But that's not what "attendance" is. What you are describing are gate receipts. I'm not going to argue with you about the semantics, I agree 'attendance' isn't the best description .... but that is how all clubs calculate and declare it.
broadsword Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Could've sworn that Rovers on their twitter account said that non-attending season ticket holders weren't counted in their attendance.
Rover_Shaun Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 They also said Derek Shaw is still very much with the club
broadsword Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 That's because the silly @#/? superglued himself to the dug-out seats.
Mercer Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Difficult to have too much confidence about this one. They are a passionate lot at Hillsborough and Jones will have them whipped into a frenzy. Sando will get a pounding early on and an early goal for the Owls will knock any remaining stuffing out of us. Unfortunately, I think we will lose by at least 2 goals.

We wont win many with Jason in the team until that is we drop down another division.

The reason we didn't win that game was nothing to do with Lowe - maybe if Jones or King could gets shots on target we would have.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 The reason we didn't win that game was nothing to do with Lowe - maybe if Jones or King could gets shots on target we would have. I wouldn't bother. His alternative is to play an untested academy player.
LDRover Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Lowe is an incredibly poor player but I concede that he does at least put a shift in. It shouldn't mask that he's league 2 standard at best though.
JAL Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 The reason we didn't win that game was nothing to do with Lowe - maybe if Jones or King could gets shots on target we would have.Hes been consistantly poor for two seasons now with no sign of improving. Ok, it might not have been Lowes fault for not winning but how many times can we say that he is the reason why Rovers won a game. Who was it that was initially out muscled for a header from the corner that led to Blackpools goal.
